"great, I purchased a special for an electric 40gallon water heater. After some research, it seems a majority of models are all manufactured by the same company under different names. Lowes or Home Depot would have done but the installation after my cost would have been 600-1000 plus. Research buying ourselves by picking up from L/HD but then since we didn't know if the existing one died due to an electrical issue or not, was worried about installing. Plus the cost included draining and removal of old unit. Will be selling house in next two years so fixing was preferable."
