"The quality of the work exceeded expectations. This was a project that I had been wanting to do for quite some time and wasn't able to perform it due to insufficient construction skills and safety issues with working at a height. I was able to install the nine beams (vertical) which served as the "stilts" or support for the tower. However, since the beams had been installed for over a year a majority of them had bowed or flexed especially at the upper height. Mike was able to adapt to the bowing and flexing of the beams and construct a very solid tower with a deck on top that measures 20' x 20'. He was very careful in his work and only used high quality components to ensure high strength during winds, weight stress, etc. My expectations were exceeded: in the amazing appearance of the tower, the inability to "shake" the tower when moving back and forth on the top, the high safety railing that wraps around the tower and the stairs (with railing) that he constructed that wrap around the tower for the ascent upward. Mike was very professional and the price he quoted me didn't change. Finally, he didn't drag out construction on the project and completed the project in a very reasonable time."

He showed up when he said he would and did a great job removing old chipped paint and then repainting the trim work and fixing a badly rotted door frame. i was quite impressed with the quality of his work. He also replaced some insect damaged wood above the front steps and painted that. He cleaned up everything completely after the job was done. "A&A did remove materials and installed  some new walls, ceilings and some flooring. They gave an estimate for the entire job and an approximate time line for job completion.  The cost estimate covered 1/2 or less of the remodel cost and the time for completion would have been at least 2 times longer than estimated.  A&A did not provide crews for work, but one person did most of the actual labor.  They did have a Sheetrock finishing crew that did some work, but not all the Sheetrock  finishing.  After 5 months the job was 1/2 done and there was not 1 room in the house that was completed.  Every room was started (at some level of dismantling), but nothing was completed.  We lived 2 hours away and could not monitor hours worked or days worked and  the last 2 months A&A worked for us, we believe their schedule was very erratic as far as far as working to complete our job. <br />   The floor tile work was done well.  The construction of a safe room was well done.  There may have been problems that caused a delay in completion, but we were never told or consulted about the discrepancy in the time estimates.  We did modify some of the details of the remodel and understood that the additions would add to the cost, but not double the cost.  Another company was hired to complete the job."

"They started in June and finished yesterday. They are excellent and always on time. They were inexpensive. They did not charge that much. They did a wonderful job. They did all the plumbing, electrical, tile and everything. Their add says one call does it all. That us true because they do everything. I don't have to pay a separate electrician or plumber, they do it all. Everybody quoted 8-9 thousand. They are also local."
