"I can't say enough about Justin and his team. He added on a patio to an existing walkway, installed a firepit, and finished off a retaining wall. Justin is extremely professional, communicated very well throughout the entire project, and his prices are very reasonable. He did an excellent job matching the new paves to the existing pavers, which is not an easy job. I have already received so many compliments on my new patio and several neighbors asking me who did the work. I would highly recommend Northeast Hardscapes and Masonry!"

"After having three different estimates, we decided to proceed with Tom and his company. Tom was, and continues to be, extremely responsive to questions and any issues before, during, and after the work was completed. The work was expertly done and exceeded our expectations. After completion of the job, there is a drainage issue i'm having. Tom has already been out to help solve the problem and told me to contact him if the problem persists. Just excellent service. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for future landscaping needs."

"He started our deck project two weeks earlier than planned. He methodically and meticulously crafted our Trex deck and the Trex platform for our gas grill. Keith is a perfectionist which we loved! He is a great communicator as well. A true carpentry virtuoso."

"I currently use RJM for mowing my lawn, including trimming along grass edges and hauling away grass clippings. They come once a week, are punctual and we are very satisfied with the lawn care service as well as the snow removal. They do a good job at both of these. In fact, in the spring, they come and reseed the areas of the lawn next to the driveway that sometimes get damaged by the plows, as is inevitable with plows (this isn't a criticism of them). By late spring you can't see any of the damage. I also requested additional services, including the mowing of overgrown brush in the yard and reseeding parts of the lawn. The estimate for the work seemed high, but we needed it done. It turned out they couldn't do the entire job, due to factors totally unrelated to them, and we were credited a small amount because of it, without any prompting on our part. When they finally came to do the work (much later, after the quote was received and deposit made), it was very late in the season, and the ground and brush was extremely wet. I felt they were trying to rush the job in before the snow came. When they came to do the work, they were here exactly two hours and 15 minutes, two men and a machine, which did most of the work, and they damaged a pipe in the yard that I had specifically pointed out to the owner when he came to review the work to prepare an estimate. The tractor that they used made big dents in the lawn and much of the brush was just pushed over, rather than cut up into smaller pieces. The charge was still nearly $2000. There was a second component of the work that was quoted that we will not have done as a result. The owner freely offered to fix the pipe when he came back to do the rest of the work, but since we are not using them for this, I've decided to let it go. I really liked the owner and was considering using them to do much more significant landscaping, including hardscaping and stonework. But I feel that the cost for the service provided versus the value, wasn't great and I couldn't risk the same thing happening on a bigger project requiring much more skill. To be fair to RJM, I never went back and voiced any of these concerns. In fact, I think they may have responded favorably in some way if I had. It just took so long for them to come, I wanted it to be done and didn't have any more energy for the whole thing at the time, and then more time passed and it didn't make sense to bring it up so many months later. I decided to write it off to experience and just not use them for more significant landscaping projects because I'm satisfied with the lawn care and snow removal service."

"Dave came and installed a high efficienc boiler with super store and I see he add the picture of my equipment in his gallery I'm more then pleased with his work and my new system. It was important to me to find some who was knowledge, trusting and friendly. There was never a moment I felt like a question was a stupid question. You can tell he is a master of his craft because he takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend Dave because if you are going to have work done your own personal equipment it's relieving to know its done right."

"I have had many electricians in my home (and a few for this very problem) and none of them came even close to the level of professionalism and customer service as the Electrical Experts provided! It really took me by surprise that an electrician would treat me and home home with such care and respect, right down to bringing their own floor mats and using protective shoe covers. I particularly love their pricing guide, knowing how much I am going to spend before they do the work really puts my mind at ease over cost and can focus on getting a quality job which they more than delivered. That along with a money back guarantee, I would recommend them to anyone A+++ <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Hampden, MA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
