"The technician was on time and professional. He climbed up on the roof and examined it. He reported that there was no damages, but a couple of shingles needed repair. He repaired the loose shingles for no charge This service gave me great confidence in the firm. I would use them in the future."

"We first thought we had foundation issues when we noticed stair-step cracking along the front (both right and left sides) of our garage brick veneer. After a foundation company did some digging we came to realize the foundation was good, however the original builder had done us a disservice by not laying the brick on a proper cement block/base or using proper brick ties. Isabel came within 2 hours of contacting him to see if he could help our situation. Over time the brick had dropped and separated from the wall itself and was, in time, going to simply fall. He suggested to properly repair all the damage (it was fairly extensive on both sides of the front wall) he would have to demo the entire wall up to the gable and start over with a proper base for the brick. He would dig to see if there were proper footers/a base for the brick to start stacking, possibly pour a proper concrete support, rebuild the wall - matching the existing brick, and repair our concrete walkway that was partially pulled up by the foundation company upon their investigation. We met with Isabel and Revis on Tuesday, the following day a crew showed up first thing in the morning and the job was done by the end of the week. They addressed every concern we had along the way. The crew was even able to save all the existing trim and most materials to save on cost. Overall we are VERY pleased with the quality work that was done as well as how quickly they were able to start/finish the job! And, his bid was FAR less than 2 others we received as well :) <br />"

"Excellent work and great suggestions to achieve what I needed. Replaced asphalt driveway with a concrete one and installed a trench drain and drainage tile through yard to solve a long-standing problem with rainwater running down driveway toward the house. Created patio in shape I wanted and fixed issues with older sidewalks. Highly recommend."

"Mauricio's men did a fine job on the brick, you cannot even tell which was replaced. The cement and deck were well done too. <br /> One issue is very few of them speak English so I had to use hand gestures to communicate with some of them. My Spanish is very limited. <br /> Also be warned that Mauricio does not accept credit cards. I was not told this and it was not in the estimate. On the day I was to pay him I had to come up with $3000.00 in cash. This was not an easy thing to do. <br /> <br />"

"Guys showed up as was told by Jimmy. I was worried about the integrity of my brick foundation being compromised being a hundred years old and having no footer. So salesman Andrew said guys will break up the concrete floor, lay tile, and concrete one wall at a time do it may take 3 days to complete job. I liked their drain tile the best out of the companies that came by and his answer to preserving my brick foundation. So I hired them I was a little shocked at the 40% down to get scheduled and started seeing how many bad contractors are out there ripping people off. But I paid the 40% and as advertised guys showed up 3.5 weeks later to do the job. Guys finished in one day which was surprising to me because salesman Andrew said 3 days to make sure brick foundation was cared for but that didn't happen. Guys cleaned up after themselves, when done collected payment and explained warranty info. Quality of work was good details could have been better or more crisp like the application of cleanspace to wall wallintegrityand lip board that will catch any water running down wall.I would hire again as long as my brick foundation maintains its integrity. And so far no water in basement. <br />"

"The provider arrived an hour later than specified, but I felt this was understandable given it was peak season. The service men were extremely friendly, professional, and did a very thorough inspection. They went step by step through their report, explained everything, and informed me that I would need the chimney torn down to the roof line and rebuilt before removing some kreosote inside the wall and parging the lintel. <br> <br>The visit ended with the lead sweep saying that they would follow up with a quote in the next couple of weeks. I followed up by email a few weeks later when I didn't receive a quote and received no response. I followed up again about a month later asking if the problem was with matching the brick on the chimney stack and if they could offer alternative repair suggestions. No response. I left a phone message and an email about a month later asking if they'd be willing to do a short consult with a local mason who was able to fix the stack and find matching brick but he wanted advice from someone with chimney experience. I made clear that I would pay for the consult and then have them do the cleaning and parging. No response. The local mason contacted them directly on March 26th. At first they sounded interested in the consult and then stopped responding. I contacted them on April 20th and received an email back on the 25th saying that they'd been out sick for the past week but would contact the mason that very afternoon. As of today, April 29th, they still haven't contacted him. <br> <br>In short, this company seems to do great with one visit cleanings based on other reviews, but doesn't follow through on quotes and repairs. I feel like I wasted $100 and an hour of my time on the inspection since I'll just have the next company to reinspect it for a similar fee. I would not use them if you suspect you need more than a standard cleaning. <br>"

"Everything was completed in a reasonable amount of time. At that time of year (March/April) they were very busy with many customers experiencing similar problems due to the excessive rainfall. They probably lost about three days in completing the work due to the heavy demand on their services. hey were very prompt in arriving the first time to set up the equipment to dry-out the basement. I had replaced the sump pump, so the standing water was gone when they arrived."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Hardinsburg, IN

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
