"James and Jaime arrived at my residence with a professional and friendly demeanor. Their first impressions was consistent from start to finish. Upon there arrival they quickly assessed the work to be done and began replacing my old water softener with a new one. After completing the plumbing reconfiguration, James and Jaime gave me a tutorial to program the new water softener. When the work was completed, the two gentlemen picked the trash and carried away my old water softener. The cost for services was reasonable and the office will work with you on any questions regarding reasonable cost adjustments. I would use Aaron and Hager Plumbing (new business name soon to be "Eager Plumbing") for future plumbing needs."

"I like Holloway Plumbing and they would have been the ones I called for the hot water heater, had I followed what I should have followed.  That one was for a leak in my sprinkler system and it was underneath the sidewalk.  The guy had to go through this little hole; but you know they have openings every so often where all the gear fits so you can maintain it and everything, but it was back from there.  I guess it had shifted a little bit, and so he had to take off his shirt and just get in there, and it was really hard.  They did a good job, though.  They did other work for me also.  The main water line to my house broke one year and that's when I first started using them.  I walked outside and there was water all over and I didn't know why.  They came out and had to dig up this big old hole, I mean, they really worked hard, and they got it all fixed and everything.  I think that was the first time I called them.  They were prompt; first of all, the lady that works the phones, they do a great job and they'll tell you - ask a lot of questions, you know, to find out who to send.  And then they sent the truck, and the truck - at that time it was a truck with a guy - I'm not sure how they do it but they're not all master plumbers, but they have a master plumber that they call if they need  help or something, and then he had also a worker with him.  And they had to dig a big hole because tree roots had gotten into the line.  It was a PVC pipe and it broke so they had to replace it all.   I remember at that same time, of course my garage was open and he looked in and he saw my water heater didn't have that little thing on top for the pressure, and that's what they had to do is get the water pressure back to normal because it's very high in my area and it just blows things out if you don't get it down.  And he noticed that I didn't have one up there, so he had to put on this tank on top of my hot water heater to get the pressure down.  They had to work a little bit on that, too.  But I just think they did a really good job.  They're very polite, professional, and they do good work.  Then I used them another time.  After the guy fixed the water sprinkler system,  I couldn't get my back yard to work.  Anyway, I called them and I turned it on - I'd been turning it on and off to see if  I could get it on - but I called them and when they got here they turned it on, and it worked.  So they left and they didn't charge me anything for that either.  They said, oh no, that's fine, so I said okay."

"The plumber who came fixed the faucets, spoke on the phone with me about the repairs, then agreed to also check the faucets in the back yard for similar problems. After his report, I asked him to replace one of the back yard faucet connections, too."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Harper, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
