"The inspector was very polite and professional.  He made a very detailed inspection as noted in the work description portion of this review.  He replaced the batteries in our thermostat.  During the inspection he accidentally broke a plastic part, but repaired and warrantied the repair immediately.  He drilled a hole in our duct-work to insert a video camera to inspect it.  This was the first time an inspection of this detail was performed.  He made several recommendations.  The price of this service was outstanding for the value received, however I did go to another Angie's list provider for some of the recommended services due to pricing considerations.

"I contacted Ben and he was able to come out two days later. I had a leak around my chimney and needed my gutters cleaned. Ben and his assistant where on time and very personable. I explained the issue and Ben was able to tar the chimney and another problem area right away. They also cleaned all of the gutters including a detached garage. I am very happy with Ben's service and will use him again for future projects."

"Nick and Jamie are a brother/sister team who have been working together for a long time and they worked very well together. They were punctual, efficient, respectful, professional, and neat. They brought in their own radio for soft music while they worked. They moved furniture and covered everything with plastic. They did a great job with the painting - straight lines, no drips, good coverage. At the end, I noticed one place of about a foot where the line between the wall and the ceiling wasn't quite straight and Jamie gladly fixed it. They carefully cleaned up.
This deal included the labor, but I needed to provide the paint. Ron passed on his discount at Sherwin Williams, and it was a very good discount - almost at SW's cost. I had questions about the paint coverage, and Jamie gave me good advice.
I'd be glad to use them again.

"We needed someone to come out to find the cause of the horrible sewage odor from our mound system. I went onto Home Advisor and found Badgerland Plumbing and called at 3:40 in the afternoon but figured late afternoon on a Friday would not be a good thing. As soon as I explained to Jared what my concern was, he said he would be out in 25 minutes, showed up on time and worked until he could assure us we were in no danger. He checked everything and replaced a leaky water fixture in the basement that he felt was allowing odor from the new pump that was just installed in our mound system to enter the house. He explained everything he was doing, was courteous, friendly and asked that we call him the next day to let him know if the problem was resolved. We couldn't be happier and yes, I will hire them again. Thanks Home Advisor & Jared from Badgerland Plumbing."

"

I am happy with how the project turned out.  My kitchen turned out exactly as I had envisoned it.  Roger did a good job of finding subcontractors and making sure they knew what they were doing.  Roger was at times untimely and difficult to work with.  The project took much longer than projected and he left several things unfinished that I had to pay someone else to do.

ADDENDUM:  Roger has asked me to explain more about why I gave him this review - claiming that I lied about him and threatening to sue me for libel because of my remarks.  I told him that I would be happy to explain .

Everything looks great - both the things that Roger contracted to do and the things I contracted for like the floor and the backsplash, the granite, the painting and the window trim.  When I contracted with Roger to replace two windows, I assumed it included complete installation.  When the windows and cabinets were in, it became clear that Roger did not intend to stain the interior frame of the windows - it was just raw wood - or put the interior trim around the windows.  I had assumed he would do that but he was never clear with me about why that was not included.  So, I had to hire someone else to do that and I am happy with how it turned out but I am not happy at how Roger dealt with it.  I also asked Roger to put a piece of quarter-round around the cubby to finish out the framing.  He said he did not have any wood that size so I went to a lumber store myself and bought a piece, stained it, and had someone install it.  Roger left lots of sawdust in all his cabinets which I had to clean out.  Roger's lack of investment in finishing his work brings his quality score from an A to a B.

When dealing with Roger and Kitchen Krafters, you should be very specific about what is included in the project.  For instance, in addition to the window stain and trim, there was nothing in the contract about replacing a door to the garage and putting in a new pantry door.  I also had to order cabinet hardware on my own.  There were numerous things that were not in the contract that I assumed would be included, and were not discussed with me by Roger or even addressed by him.  It was just left undone and then it was up to me to deal with it when the time came for it to be done.

As for timeliness, my first payment to Roger was on April 16.  Roger divided each part of the job into separate contracts and asked for half up front and half when completed.  He initially estimated the job would be done in 2 months so I was shooting for July 4th.  We had several delays in the project.  One was because I didn't quite understand his payment requirements.  I had paid him $30,000 by May 31 and figured that more would not be due until completion.  He came to me with a bill for an additional $13,000 a few days later and I didn't have the cash on hand to pay that.  I did pay it 2 weeks later, but Roger halted all work on the project for 2 weeks without saying anything to me - no one showed up for 2 weeks.  I never knew when Roger had me on his schedule or not.  Some days workers would show up and other days no one would appear.  Somedays workers would be there at 7:30 and other times Roger would not show up until 10:30.  It was difficult to have my home open to strangers without knowing who they were or when they would show up.  I had no functioning kitchen from May 12 through August 8 when I finally had my sink and appliances back in and I was living in constant mess during that time.  Roger was quite slow in finishing out the cabinets after that and took over 2 more months to complete the cabinet trim.  My final payment to him was on October 22 and it wasn't until then that most of the work was completed.  This brings his punctuality score to a D.

Roger was responsive in that he really listened and worked with me to get the plan to look like what I envisioned, so upon consideration, I have increase this rating from a C to a B.  He didn't flinch when I said I wanted to close up an unused exterior doorway which meant he would have to find a stone mason to match up the lannon stone on the exterior front of the house.  He was meticulous about quality and got rid of one stone mason contractor when he could tell he wouldn't do the job right.  The exterior stone work now looks beautiful.

As for being difficult to work with at times, here are a few examples.  Roger had several run-ins with the man I hired to do the floor tile, painting, and backsplash.  At the very beginning of our discussions, I asked Roger if I could break out parts of the project and mentioned who I wanted to have do it, and he agreed to this.  He wrote up his contract without the floor tile, backsplash, cabinet/appliance/floor removal, or painting in it.  We also ended up breaking out the granite installation when Roger wanted me to go to Chicago but I found someone locally who could do it for less and Roger agreed to let me contract for it.  Roger accused someone I had hired of stealing a saws-all from him, but the tool was returned immediately when it was discovered that it had been picked up by accident.  Roger accused someone I had hired of cutting off the wires to the thermostats when the floor was put in, but the walls were already up and the electrical should have already been put in by that time.  Roger sent me a sarcastic email and accused me of going behind his back to get information on his business when I contacted the HVAC people to ask for a bill for work they did for me that was separate from the kitchen project.  Roger ran out of screws once and told me to go to Menards and get him more - which I did, because I wanted the job finished - but I felt a bit odd being told to do work for him.  Roger left a pile of wood and cardboard in my driveway for 2 months and when I asked him to please remove it, he filled up both both my garbage and recycling karts to the brim with his garbage.  I do think that Roger can improve on his follow through and his customer service skills.  Roger tends to immediately go to threatening behavior when there are things he doesn't agree with. This keeps his responsiveness from being an A and brings his professionalism to a D in my subjective opinion.

I have tried to be factual about what happened and honest about my subjective experience with Roger and Kitchen Krafters.

FAQs for drain line breakage camera locate projects in Hartford, WI

French drain repairs generally include cleaning to remove clogs or replacing damaged pipes. Drain cleaning costs between $150 and $200 per hour. If replacement is necessary, the cost to install a French drain can run up to $5,000, depending on its type and location.

Trenchless sewer replacement costs between $60 and $250 per foot but is usually not an option for interior plumbing lines. Plumbers typically only use this approach for outside sewer pipes.

Unless you can see a clog through a drain or cracked pipe under a sink, you may be unable to identify its location. To find the problem, your plumber may test your water pressure at specific points or use a sewer camera.

Common signs that a drain pipe requires repair include slowly draining water, backups, regular clogs, strange gurgling sounds, or foul odors from the drain. Also, contact a plumber if you can see rust or oxidation on a drain pipe under the sink or in the basement.

The cost to repair a sink drain pipe can be as low as $100, covering the cost of a plumber’s labor for one to two hours. If the pipe needs to be replaced or is difficult to access, costs could climb up to $500.
