Dave said that he could come right out that day. While there to fix the refrigerator, we mentioned that the dryer was making a horrible screeching noise. He fixed that too. He did need to order a part for the refrigerator but was able to get it going perfectly until the part came in. Once the part arrived, he returned to do the final repair. "We originally scheduled an appointment with a company named Handyman Matters.  Big mistake.  Their earliest appointment was a week away, so we took it and we were on the schedule.  A day before the appointment, I received a call from the owner Bob, who told me that he had to cancel the appointment on us and that we would have to wait another week for his next available appointment.  This was for our rental property and we had a tenant waiting to move into the unit.  We already wasted one week and now he expected us to wait another week.  We ended up canceling and went with Extreme Company instead.  They had the highest number of reviews for drywall repair and Alex was very professional and pleasant on our first meeting for the estimate.  I was e-mailed the estimate on the same day he came out to look at the job and we decided to move
forward from there.  True to his company name, Alex was EXTREMELY flexible with his scheduling.  The other company left me high and dry when I was on a tight deadline.  Our tenant wanted to move in early before the first of the month, so the sooner the job was done the sooner
we could accommodate our new tenant. This was a two unit job.  The second floor bathroom had a water leak, which caused damage to our first floor living room and bathroom ceilings.  The plumber had to break open the ceiling on the first floor ceiling as well as the second floor
bedroom wall to access the water pipes.  Extreme cut out all the damaged drywall, patched the openings with new drywall and painted.  A new access panel was added to the second floor bedroom wall for easier access to the pipes in the future if needed.  Our first floor unit was
still vacant and empty at the time of the repairs and we were not present at the time of the repairs.  We went to inspect the work after it was done and everything looked good.  Their crew did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves.  Alex gave me his word that he would finish the job before the weekend and he came through on his promise."
