"Kevin from Prime Star arrived within the 2 hour window of 11am - 1pm. He was very courteous. He first vacuumed the water from the washer / dryer which had not drained out. Next, he dismantled the unit, replaced the drain pump and performed other maintenance to the LG unit. After reassembling the unit, he did a test run of the rinse cycle, which operated perfectly. The Zelle payment transaction was professional and smooth. Kevin also gave me a receipt and a business card. The repair was completed about 1 hour. I started a laundry load shortly after Kevin left. The washer / dryer is operating as though it's new."

"It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."

"Will unhesitatingly work with AML Appliance again. Terrific communication leading up to the appointment both in working with my schedule as well as confirming the day before. I had a 3pm-6pm window. Maria called to tell me the technician could be there by 2:30pm. Bob showed precisely on time. He immediately assessed the problem with the dryer and was able to fix it in scant moments. I asked him to not put the bottom panel right away so I could vacuum in there. He insisted on getting in there with vacuum himself which he surely did. not need to do. Top notch work and attitude on all fronts. And all done before the start of the original appointment window."

"Tony was prompt and courteous. I have a 40 yr old Maytag washer, and he said the hose replacement was difficult to find and because of the item he made 2 visits: 1 was the troubleshooting and estimate, the 2nd was to bring the hose to do the repair. He accurately diagnosed and repaired our washer resulting in no more leaking. He was done in less than an hour. I did not do any comparisons, as I had been without a washer for 2 weeks. I liked the service, but I would probably do a comparison next time . I feel the cost was a bit high. I paid $270. However, he did a great job."

"My old refrigerator was hot to the touch on the exterior side walls and top of the unit. It's over 20 years old so I thought it's time to replace it. I got it used in 2001 and t's been extremely reliable since that time but I thought it was on its last legs. So I looked at comparable size refrigerators. If you don't want the cheapest one made, they cost around $800 on up. Wow!
I remembered Angie's List and thought I'd search for a repair service to come out and confirm that I needed a new refrigerator. If I was going to spend almost $1,000 on a refrigerator, I wanted to know I absolutely had to. I read e Appliance Repair's reviews and called for an appointment. I got one for the very next day. Great.
I had a 3 hour window in the afternoon for the appointment, and about 45 minutes or so into the window, Joseph the technician called me and said he was on his way and only several minutes away. I loved the heads up phone call.
When Joseph arrived I explained why I called, he took a look at my fridge and said it was all repairable. He quoted me a $150 price for the labor involved before he started any work and I okay'd the price. He opened the back of the fridge, cleaned it out, stopped the condensation from a frozen tube, and did some more things to ensure the problem was fixed. And all the while he explained what he was doing and why. When he was through, the price he quoted was the price I paid. Very professional, very efficient and a great guy as well.
I'm sure I will be using e Appliance Repair in the future and I will definitely ask for Joseph when I do. Excellent service. Reasonable price. Perfect experience. Thank you very much!

"Larry was very responsive. He came out within a half hour of my calling him and looked at the front loading washing machine, which had stopped working. He charged a $35 service charge. After looking at it for a half hour he determined that it was the control board (?) that was not working and said he could order one. We looked on my home computer to see how much it would cost and it was approximately $130, so I needed to think about whether it was worth repairing or if I should just buy a new machine since mine was 6 years old. Larry told me that it would be an additional $55 for him to install it. So a total of $220. I later decided to go ahead with the repair and Larry obtained the part for me very quickly. He told me it cost more than the one we had seen online and so I ended up paying $25 more, however, his invoice showed the same price for the part, but an increased labor fee. I was happy with his work, but felt that Larry may have overcharged me a bit. Something just didn't feel right about the final invoice. However, the washer has been working fine. UPDATE: Larry did contact me promptly after reading the above review and offer to refund $20. I expect to receive the refund shortly."
