"We have had DDP (Dariusz Pardo and his great crew) do substantial projects for us since 2015 - interior painting and kitchen remodel for my motherâ s condo, exterior painting of our house - so when we decided to do a major refresh and renovation of our house, DDP was our first choice. That was a smart move! After much discussion and thought, we agreed on an expansive project list. * New kitchen: cabinets, quartz countertops, crown molding, ceramic backsplash, porcelain floor, ceiling and under-counter lighting * Replace hardwood floors (rip out hardwood, screw down sub-flooring, install and finish new flooring) * Replace interior doors (19) and door moldings * Replace all baseboard moldings * Build new Pantry and laundry room closets and remodel all other closets * Family Room: Design and install new in ceiling lighting, and install new laminate flooring * Replace all electrical switches and outlets, and install several new outlets in kitchen, bedrooms and family room * Fix creaky stairs * Adjust step height of several stair steps * Paint every room and closet, which required resurfacing of many areas that had deep cracking/peeling of 60 years worth of paint. * Design and install plumbing for a new water softener system, and install system * Install new natural gas Hot Water Heater including leak detector with automatic water shut-off. "If I could give zero stars I would. I booked this company for an urgent project and confirmed date/time on a Monday. On Friday, someone shows up saying they are here to work on assembling my shelves. I said we were scheduled for Monday and he got very aggressive and made a phone call. He kept insisting that he was already here and just let him in to do it and I said no because I am getting furniture delivery and then leaving. He got more frustrated and finally left. I felt very uneasy and considered canceling, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. On Sunday evening, I texted the number to confirm that we were still good for Monday and he responded that we were. No one ever showed up or responded to any of my messages. This is the first time using Angie and honestly this was an awful experience. I assumed there would be some kind of background checking or vetting but I cannot imagine there was because something seemed very off. Proceed at your own risk but needed to share"
