One other plumber responded but I could not understand his heavy accent, and he asked me if I wanted him to replace the whole burner assembly. That made no sense to me and I questioned him about it. Suddenly he became "too busy" and hung up the phone. Another plumber didn't respond until Monday morning. Too late. The fourth plumber never responded at all. Cassidy asked if it was an emergency or could wait until Monday. I said Monday. and asked what time? I did not get an answer on Friday. Around 8:30P I called and got an answering service which told me that I wouldn't get a response until Monday because their office closed at 8:00P. I had asked about what time on Monday before 6:00P George arrived Monday morning. He was friendly. He knew what he was doing. He replaced the thermocouple. I checked the price of this job ahead of time as I always do with any work that needs to be done at my home. Parts and labor, I always need to know up front. I do not like it when any workers come off as greedy and try to insult my intelligence. I hope the work of this young man lasts. However, I would have been able to give him 5 stars, if he had chosen to fully conduct himself as a professional in the end. This plumber was paid $1700.
