He came out to the house right away and patched the leaks in the roof. The roof was old, so repairing shingles would not be feasible; a new roof was in order. Stanley helped me pick out the best roofing product for my house, and his prices were very fair. Stanley was always prompt in returning calls, scheduling appts, and coming to work. He was professional, friendly, trustworthy, and patient. The entire roof was replaced in one day, and the process was seamless, start to finish. <br /> Stanley Honeycutt and his partner stand behind their work. I was out of town when they did the installation, and Stanley insisted that I not pay a dime until I see the roof to ensure that I was satisfied first!  And Honeycutt & Banks continue to stand behind their work: After installing the new roof, water was leaking into the house from another source: They checked and rechecked the seals on the roof, helped figure out where the water was leaking from (gutters), and referred me to another good contractor who could help fix the gutters and repair the walls. "What I wasn't happy with was the insulation strip between the two windows. I have white trim, and they put in a dark strip of insulation. It looks awful. I told them that if they couldn't do things the way they were done previously, they needed to inform me of the changes that needed to be made. Even though the holidays are right around the corner, and winter is a tough time to fit roofing in (when it's not raining) and despite the fact that I overheard a conversation where he and his people were clearly busy from dawn to dusk for the next few days,  they were able to find time to fit us in before another rainstorm could make our situation worse. They worked extremely efficiently, and even with my interruptions, still worked into the night and got it done in just a few hours! <br /> Since the work was done today, obviously I have no idea how well the roof work is going to do its job, but it certainly looks good from the outside and the way they both worked, I have reason to believe it could hold up at least as long as the rest of the roof. <br /> When the weather warms up, I am looking forward to contacting Mr. Smith and Litespeed again to take care of our other house problems. <br />"

"I hired Taylor's to replace 15 windows and 1 very large picture window. It took a crew of 3 a little over 1 day to complete the 15 replacements and the picture window took a crew of 3 two days to complete working only on this window. The picture window is the main reason I hired Taylor's. This window was very heavy and there was some wood damage on the trim they had to deal with. They were very professional with the replacement work. It's been 6 months since the work was done, and we haven't had any issues. The reason I rated them a B in responsiveness is that it took a few months from the time of purchase until the time of install. In that time there was very little communication to let me know what was going on."
