"John did an A++ job - I had called several other contractors whose estimates were three times higher and the quality of John's work was superior. My homebuilder had installed the front porch stonework over the top of the decking, so it was not an easy job and involved carefully removing the old decking to install the new deck. What I was most impressed by though is that John was focused primarily on what would be most cost effective for me. When he reworked the stairs, he figured out a way to do them so that we could retain the vertical stonework while not costing s fortune. "Our only complaint about Metro Reconstruction was the length of time it took to start the job. However, it’s hard to fault a company whose popularity and good work actually created their wait list. Ben explained that several of his other stucco projects had hidden complications that delayed the start of our small job. But in the end, our patience was rewarded and we were very happy with the result. Here’s a brief recap. In late December 2015, six months after we signed the contract, Ben contacted us to let us know that our stucco repair was next in line. Our stucco was damaged from a rogue woodpecker and we were seeking a permanent (non-lethal) solution to the problem. In a just a week or so, Ben was at our house reviewing the job details and taking a stucco sample to match our color. Now all we had to do was wait for the weather to warm up and even that arrived right on cue. The work crew was efficient, professional and polite. Every evening they cleaned up the work site and kept the clutter to a minimum. Within a week the task was completely done and we are very glad that we waited."
