"I'll start by saying that Jofmar (Jose and team) delivered well beyond my expectations. I reached out to Jofmar with a few large hardscape projects after long effort to try and find someone that was professional, on time and and cared to do the work. Overall my experience was very pleasant. Victoria graciously helped me with estimates, explained the process well to understand what is involved for each project and then Jose and his team delivered on the product. The first of two projects just finished up -I had stacked stone garden walls built around all my mulched beds. The attention to detail was a delight to see and I can't wait to finally refresh my garden beds. I want to call out that Jose and team really love the work that they do and it shows. They work hard and are easy to talk to throughout projects. They are agile and will work with you if there is a change in scope. I still have a second project waiting on materials and can't wait to see how well they do there as well. I'll be using Jofmar for any work I need in the future and if I could put them on retainer, I would. Attached are some shots of the work they did for my garden walls."

He was very responsive and his solution took care of the problem. He did not try to oversell me on anything I did not need. His team came out in one day and 90% finished the project. "I contracted LLS for a backyard redesign, as I was not really using the space as envisioned due to several challenges. After a conversation outlining my challenges and goals, I expected that LLS would provide experienced design solutions and incorporate them in a drawing. This was my previous experience with other landscape designers. LLS was initially responsive to my input and listened to what I was trying to achieve. Ultimately, I received a simple draft design that did not address my backyard issues. To make additional changes and incorporate solutions to those issues, I needed to pay for another two hours of design time. Although the original design was not complicated, I agreed since I did not explicitly detail every item and was initially depending on their experience to help me. I eventually received the design about 8 weeks later, but ultimately it was just LLS transcribing my requests into a CAD drawing without much actual "design" work. I didn't really have any need for that service, since I could draw something similar myself for the purposes of HOA approval, and every other contractor I spoke with included design in the cost of their installs. LLS couldn't or wouldn't quote the actual install without me paying for a detailed, scale drawing to use for the quote. To modify the 2D design from a pergola to a screened porch was going to require as much as $2,500 worth of additional design costs. Ultimately, I paid for 6 hours of design time for a simple drawing that an experienced professional should have been able to do in much less time. The cost was significantly more than I paid for a previous design, with significantly fewer details and input from the designer. If you are looking for design work, I would recommend finding a dedicated, experienced designer who doesn't do other work."

"WOW, INCREDIBLE WORK…they buried 5 drainage spouts underground, built the brick garden wall to match our brick home, and installed rocks & new plants. WE ARE SO HAPPY, it brought instant curb appeal to our home!!! COMPETITIVE PRICING…we got many quotes for the job and AGV had the best quote and most of all they were the most qualified to do the job. Other businesses did not want to install the brick garden wall—but AGV had the right experience to do the job. SUPER FAST... it took only 2 days to finish the job. "I had evergreen come out to do an estimate for drainage and irritation install in July. Chris, the owner, said that I was picking a great time to do the work because I'd have plenty of time to overseed and fix the damage to the yard when they were done. I paid the deposit to get work started and then waited. And waited. And waited. No response to calls or emails asking when work would start. I was getting ready to take action against them when they showed up at my house and started digging. It was 2 months after I sent them money. It was already after I wanted to overseed. The work was estimated to take about a week. 3 weeks later, they were finally done. The yard was torn up. I didn't have enough time to fix it on the fall. I winterized the system, myself, because I didn't want to send more money to evergreen for work that might, eventually, get done. In the spring, I turned my system on and started seeding to fix all of the damage that was still left over. Now, it's May. My system sprung a significant leak between the irrigation meter that the city installed and a PVC valve that evergreen installed. Evergreen won't fix it under warranty because I didn't winterize with them. They want at least $300 to fix it... In a couple weeks. This company has terrible communication. They have terrible time estimates. And now it's become apparent that they don't stand behind their work. Stay far away from these guys. It's not worth spending your hard earned money on this many headaches."
