Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way. "Nice owner, hack job crew. Hired to replace siding and trim. Manager of the project was fired a few times during work and it really shows. So many small details are either unfinished or poorly done. Amateur cuts on the trim left gaps and old trim was not prep for paint or just left unpainted. They also smeared silicone to cover screws on the front face of the shingles, the whole house looks like it's covered in bird droppings. Plus they also damaged the roof and electrical boxes. Who knows what other things they skipped on, left me with a time bomb of problems that will takes years to show. I would not recommend. "
