"I hired ULB-Dry Waterproofing out of Villa Park to repair some cracks in my house’s foundation. Boy, am I glad I did! The three men, Margarito, Deivy and John, worked so hard and did a great job. They found more cracks, fixed those as well as installing a window well drain. My basement is as dry as a bone!! Great company to work with and great prices too!"

"This was my first experience with J&S Plumbing, and I was very pleased. The outside discharge pipe from my basement sump pump had developed a leak and was flooding my yard. Despite the fact that the ground was saturated, they were able to dig down, find the leak, repair it, and then did a great job putting back all the mud and grass so that it is level. I will definitely call them the next time I need a plumber."

"We called Patrick to fix a sewer smell in our basement. After digging out a section of the floor, he found a pipe installed by the previous owner that had never been correctly attached to the sewer main. He and his crew worked on a Friday and Saturday to fix the issue. They jackhammered out the floor, dug up the old pipe and replaced it. Patrick was very attentive and showed me all the steps he was taking, carefully explaining everything that needed to be done. Cleaned up afterward and finished the job without issue. Highly recommended."

"We are new homeowners and had a hole in our septic tank made of concrete block, which was sending wastewater into the foundation/basement of the home. It was my first time using Angie's List, and I would recommend Illinois Sewer and Drain to anyone. Joe and his team of experts solved our issue immediately at an affordable price. They even went above and beyond to install a sump pump in our basement to help with the rain water. Quality work!!"

"It took a few days longer to complete the installation because a special part had to be ordered. The plumbers did a nice job of figuring out a temporary work-around so that we did not have to go for three days without hot water. They are friendly, courteous, professional and left the utility room cleaner than they found it. Just like the Boy Scouts."

"PermaSeal is the Best. The consultant clearly explained the options for my project, the scheduling and cost. The installers were on time, explained questions I had about the basement crack sealing and Permafoam installation , completed the project in a timely manner and were friendly. This is the second project PermaSeal has completed for me. I would call them again, for sure."

"My husband and I had a wonderful experience with The Real Seal in July 2024. They fixed a bowing foundation and waterproofed the basement for future finishing. Their team was prompt, respectful, organized and thoroughly educated us on the drainage tile system, installation process and prevention. Thank you, Real Seal for being the flawless first step to our dream basement/family space!"

"All Affordable Plumbing was great to work with. They address my primary issue which was an issue with the plumbing in the basement. Secondly, I had mentioned to them that I will be doing a kitchen remodel project in the near future and that I will need to have the drain relocated. What they did was stage the area in prepapration for that project, so that there will be minimal work for when I start that project and have the sink in the new location. Lastly, they were very organized and professional with their work. Also, they left the area cleaner than what I presented to them"

"Luis was professional from scheduling the free quote, scheduling the work, and getting the work done. He answered all of my questions and prepared a detailed plan and estimate. A pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend LA Basement Waterproofing."

"I had used TopTech a few years ago for a water heater problem and was impressed by the quality of their service. When I found they had an "A Rating" on Angie's List, I called them for this job and was told I would get a call back. I was a bit troubled when I didn't get a call back after two working days so I called them again. This time I got an immediate response and was able to talk to a plumber about the situation and what I wanted done. He was very helpful, explained that they had a slightly different approach, and convinced me why their approach was better than the one I had in mind. He quoted me a price, we were able to set an appointment for the next day, and he arrived promptly on time. The installation went very well, I appreciated the thoroughness of the work, and the professional manor. The price was on the higher end of what I had expected to pay but the value of the service justified the cost."
