"During the first visit, the new opening was satisfactory, however, they did not cover my carpet when they applied the "mud" to the area they enclosed and there was quite a bit left on the floor.  I also had a problem with the work they did on the flooring installation. 
The contractor did a horrible job on the additional sheetrock repairs.  Many areas were not taped and therefor the "mud" was all cracked the next day.  She was in a hurry at the end of the day and was just slapping mud over the sheetrock where the old outlets were located without taping first.  Also, they did not correctly repair the flooring installation.  She came back to do some additional work on the flooring installation and I told here I was not satisfied with the work she had already done.  She said that she did not feel she could satisfy me and quit.  I had 2 other flooring contractors come out and they both informed me that the flooring was not installed properly.  She cut the pieces to go under the trim molding, (not just the 1/4 round) thus allowing no room for expansion and this caused the floor to buckle all the way down the hall.   Some of the electrical work is still incomplete. I have had to wait quite a while to get another contractor in. 
I feel that the way she handled the problem was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.  I would definitely NOT use this company again and have already told several of my friends and acquaintices not to use her.

"Measure Twice , Install once ....but something went a miss . My two large windows with the arches at the top came in two inches too large and a small bathroom window came in but wasn't frosted . Over all , I am 100% satisfied with these beautiful windows and more over the cost savings anticipated in my cooling and heating bills. My old windows were Builder Grade metal framed thermo glass but were so poorly installed that the dirt blew in when closed and Ant's had filled the tracts. I found the the ECO-VIEW windows to be comparable to $700 per unit ( Low-E ) custom made window at a fraction of the cost with Installation . My A/C doesn't run nearly as often and the house now feels chilly with the Thermostat set at 78 degrees . A special shout out to " BARB " my Saleswoman . Her winning smile and confidence could help her sell Ice Cubes to Eskimos . I am looking forward now to replacing my 8' Triple Tract Patio Slider with a set of beautiful French doors with Side Lite Glass. My installers ( Andre & Trace ) were terrific. After installing they went around and touched up caulking with my exterior and interior left over paints . The house and yard were left spotless .... Again thank you for a GREAT EXPERIENCE . "The remodel went over very well. He did exactly what I asked for. My bathroom is small but it’s pretty. I am interested in aging in place so he put in a grab bar when he retiled my shower. He also made the floor where I could roll in if necessary. No step up. He widened my door in case I ever needed a wheelchair. My vanity top and spigot were totally replaced. He put marble on the floor throughout and up the walls partway. New towel rods were installed. He also built a seat for me in the shower. I am very pleased. It was a message job, and took some time but it was worth it."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"He was awesome.  He called back, but he was working in Reed field, North Carolina and he could not get to us for a couple of days.  By the time, he got to us we had already gotten the other estimates, and we were pleased with him.  Hampton guy was great.  He was really quick to get back to us, but he had other projects that he had already lined up.  The experience was very satisfactory.  He was very courteous, and prompt.  He was very honest in saying that he cannot get to us, and if we needed to have this work done now, then we need to have to get somebody else.  I appreciated that."

Having never needed repairs of this magnitude, we called half a dozen contractors for estimates.  After looking them over we settled on Haber because they were local and had an easy to understand estimate.

The day we called Barry to tell him he was our choice, he had a crew out to close up the roof. He did this even before any paperwork was signed.

Over the  next two weeks, repairs were done in a most satisfactory way. There were a few days where his crew had to work around our schedule.  Even then the work progressed faster than expected.  Dad was able to stay in the house during the repairs.

We had the roof and underlining roof structure repaired , the entire roof got new shingles.  The damaged rain gutters were replaced. The master bath was completely rebuilt, and painted. Master bedroom ceiling was painted.  Holes in the kitchen ceiling were patched and the entire ceiling was painted as was the front room.  Cracks in the kitchen wall were patched and the entire wall was painted. 

And some 35 feet of fence was replaced.

Cables for the TV were re run.

At this point

we determined there would be money left over , So we had 2 exterior doors replaced , new Gutters installed on the other 3 sides of the house , and some landscaping issues resolved,  topsoil and a large area covered with grass sod.

The job was done in less than 2 weeks. All trash was removed.  The house looks great.

I would recommend Haber to anyone.
