"PAR Construction is the gold standard in my view, and I cannot recommend their services highly enough. To quickly summarize - I hired PAR construction, and you should too! PAR Construction transformed a confusing and inefficient floor layout in our 100-year-old house into a beautiful space that makes sense for our family. They completed the project on a reasonable timeline, despite a week of no electricity (thanks, Beryl), and the usual surprises that come into play when renovating an old house. We could not be more pleased with PAR Construction and highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-end renovation/construction work! Now, for more details: We hired PAR Construction to remodel our upstairs bedrooms/closets to provide a room for our three young kids. We interviewed a number of construction companies and ultimately hired PAR Construction because of their demonstrated track record of quality and communication. They delivered in every way, and then some! As soon as we put the initial deposit down, Adam and team submitted the plans for permitting approval, which can take some time. We were provided regular updates throughout the permitting process and Adam and team responded quickly to any follow-up requests from the folks at the permitting authorities. As soon as we got the all clear from permitting, Adam and his team (shout out to my guys Gabriel, Raph and Felix – miss y’all!) sprang into action and began work right away. They came and worked every weekday, and regularly on Saturdays as needed. They were kind, courteous and diligent in carrying out the project. It can certainly be awkward to have a group of seemingly random people in your house on a daily basis, but the PAR Construction team did a great job minimizing disruption and were mindful of keeping our home as orderly as possible. It got to the point that I looked forward to chatting with the team every morning before work and catching up at the end of the day. We had a great experience with each member of the PAR Construction team and I am confident in saying it doesn’t get any better than them! PAR Construction is not cheap, but the cost is excellent value for their top notch work. Like any construction project, there were some additional costs that came up as the project carried on (i.e., moving some 100 year old cast iron pipes that we didn’t know existed in order to make room for a new beam, etc.), but any potential added costs were communicated on a timely basis and we were given the option to accept or decline the updated work/cost. The original bid/scope of the project was meticulously laid out and PAR Construction stayed true to the cost of the original plans. As noted above, the perils of Hurricane Beryl tried to interrupt the progress on our home, but the PAR Construction team didn’t let that stop them. Even though we were without electricity for over a week, the team showed up every day and continued working to keep the project on schedule. In addition, we had a leak develop in a downstairs side room during the hurricane, and the PAR Construction team helped address the leak and replace/repair the components of the ceiling as needed. I am very thankful we had Adam and team to help address the issue promptly, before it turned into a bigger issue! Sure, you might find other companies that will give you cheaper bids for your project, but I am confident that PAR Construction will blow them out of the water in terms of quality of work and value for your money! Adam is an honest and genuinely kind person, and those qualities were extremely important to me in deciding to hire his team for work on our family home. My family and I are very pleased with the outcome of our project and look forward to hiring PAR Construction for additional work in the future."

"First let me just say that we are absolutely thrilled with our major re-imagining of our kitchen, new conservatory room and of course our master bathroom. Tell projects is a family owned business. We selected them from others we interviewed because they have an excellent reputation and provide personal service and attention to detail from the design phase to demolition, construction and finishing. Ours was a major renovation involving changing the entire load bearing structure of our house, creating new indoor space from what was previously an outdoor patio and then a complete renovation of our entire kitchen and master bathroom. All of the work was custom made and executed by Tell's own craftsmen. The attention to detail was quite impressive, right down to the project manager personally walking our property regularly with us to plan and make adjustments to the project as necessary. With such a major renovation, invariably, changes will be made and delays will occur due to weather, materials on backorder etc, but throughout the entire process, the design team, the project manager and the staff at Tell were always working to meet and exceed our needs. We even had regular discussions with the owner who often reached out to us to gauge our level of satisfaction. There is no such thing as a perfect world, and there were times when we had some concerns about some minor issues relating to prep work ahead of our appliance install date, but the folks at Tell were relentless and they got it right and the end result was spectacular. Kudos to Ellie, Adrianna, Zach, Adner, Fernando , Denis and Gustavo. I know I have not mentioned everyone due to space constraints but let me leave with this. If you want your project completed as perfectly as possible by people who actually CARE about their work and take pride in what they do, choose Tell Projects but hey, don't take my word for it....look for yourself"

"If you are looking for a solid construction company sonart is the way to go for sure! All I could say was wow aside from the fact that my mouth was completely open for a solid five minutes LOL! The house was built around the 50s and hasnâ t been updated since the original build. To see our bathrooms brought more to a modern the lights was honestly heartwarming I know my mother would have appreciated this!Thank you again guys for your hard work!"

"We had a fantastic experience working with Adrian Amezquita with Maz Contractor Services. We obtained multiple quotes for the work but they were competitive and could handle the variety of work we were looking to do. They did a complete bathroom model on both our master (new shower glass, granite counter, and a new coating of epoxy on the tub which made it look brand new) and guest (complete demo of tub/shower replaced by walk-in with ceramic tile, glass doors, and sea glass accents, new quartz countertop) bathrooms, Adrian helped with design advice and we couldn't be happier with the end product. Adrian's crew also performed interior paint in both our kitchen and master bedroom (in addition to painting both bathrooms), but probably the most impressive piece of work is the transition of a lattice door overhang in the back, they framed it in solid, shingled it, and you can't even tell it wasn't original with the house. Throughout the whole process, Adrian kept in constant communication. He would text us to let us know who was coming when and what work was expected to take place. The entire job only took about two weeks. Overall, we were very pleased and would absolutely use them again and highly recommend! Grand total at the end of the job $15,800."

Unlike previous contractors who find the shortest and easiest way to finish the project without regards to the long term consequences of future maintenance, Matt’s focus is in the long-term efficiency of any installation or project for our satisfaction and enjoyment of the product installed. This is the second time I had him work on a home project and found him being very consistent in his attention to details. The plumbing and electrical project we had was very tricky and complicated since our townhome is more than 50 years old. With many “patchwork” repairs done by previous owners/contractors, adding new wiring was not as straightforward. Yet, Matt and his team were able to save us the cost of adding a subpanel box after they took the time to assess all the existing wiring. Matt not only works to understand the purpose of the job requested but also takes into account the visual aesthetics involved in the project. He has outstanding expertise in planning and preparing for the project such that there is excellence in the completion of the project. He takes the time to evaluate and understand the current condition of the house and explains the process in detail to get to the end-result that is expected upon completion. He was very judicious in informing me of any issues during the project and was well prepared to provide viable options that make the end-result better. I also appreciate his high respect for the homeowner’s property which he makes sure is also practiced by the workers he send to do the job all throughout the process and not just during the time of quote or price negotiation or just at the start of the project when the homeowner is around. "I have used Htowne for multiple projects, the latest and largest was a two-bedroom second floor addition over the master suite (itself an earlier addition by a previous owner) in our 1930's vintage home in Eastwood. They were able to take the project from a loose "hand-waving and pointing" idea in my head all the way through design, structural engineering and architecture to completion and incorporate the ideas and desires we had for the space. They went above and beyond to make sure the rest house remained livable and unmolested since we stayed in our home (with kids!) through the entire process (though we did have to give up our master suite for a couple months). Very professional, highly recommended, and look forward to working with them again."

"Jim Johnson is an exceptional builder and honest businessman. You can tell he does this work because he loves it and genuinely wants his work to be the highest quality. He was referred to me by a co-worker with very high standards, and I am so grateful we were able to have his team do our addition and remodel.
