"You have to pay up front before any work has been done through his website or phone app. And you pay for a set amount of hours. If it takes longer, you pay again. You don't get reimbursed if it didn't take as long as you paid for. If he has to travel to get a different part, he is on the clock for that too, even if he bought the wrong part to begin with. Seemed like he was learning a few things as he started installing some things, like the closet doors - he bought the wrong roller mechanisms and didn't know how to install a peep hole eyeglass - in fact he lost a part of the magnifier and had to go back to the store to buy another one, as well as the closet roller mechanisms - all at my expense. I do not recommend this company."

"We have three large double panel Fleetwood sliding glass doors in our modern home. We attempted to work with Dawson to replace the glass on one of them that shattered due to a manufacturer's defect. Dawson was far from helpful - their estimate was $4K to replace the glass under warranty. I had no issue with their $100 site visit, but I would not recommend them for repairs. Maybe the experience is better with new installation. We try to support local business when we can, but we also have to consider our own budgetary concerns."
