"I wanted to make my house more secure, so I decided to replace my French doors with a sliding glass patio door. I compared three companies, of which Window Pros of Texas was the best choice. None of them were able to get the door installed quickly, due to shortages caused by factory Covid-19 lockdowns, however Window Pros was able to do the installation in six weeks, while the other companies needed 12-14 weeks. As far as price, Window Pros was in the middle. I wanted to know more about the doors they used, so I googled the brand doors, and found that the lowest bidder’s doors had lots of bad reviews, whereas Window Pros’ NT Doors got excellent reviews, and comes with a lifetime warranty, plus Window Pros offers a lifetime warranty on labor! I think Bill may have taken a little more time with the installation than someone else might, but he was a perfectionist, extremely detail-oriented, and did a wonderful job. I love my new patio door and am happy I chose Window Pros of Texas!"

Following more than a year of painstaking research and shopping for windows in a market place full of high-pressured sales pitches, exaggerated performance claims, and often times, contradictory information, the sales process with Randy was refreshingly informative, professional, and low-keyed. Negotiations on the final window price and installation were matter-of-fact and fair. Jorge and his dream team of window installers were among the most professional tradesmen to have ever worked on our home. Each day of the week-long installation process was characterized by thorough preparation, non-stop work, and perfectionistic cleanup. Along the way, Jorge eagerly answered all of our questions and addressed any of our concerns with his immediate attention. The Okna windows with straight-lined caulking have transformed the street appeal of our west-facing 25+ year old home and continues to be the talk-on-the-block. The reduction of street noise has been exceptional, and more importantly, we have already seen a drop in our electricity bill. We are very pleased with Ultra Windows and have recommended Randy to our friends and family."

"The window replacement business is obviously highly competitive. This is one to clearly avoid. Seems like the sales people tell the client everything they want to hear in order to have a contract signed. That was the easy part. The first day of the install went atrociously. Windows were installed completely incorrectly. Second day went a little better but they left behind an incredible mess. The windows incorrectly installed the day before were left with massive gaps allowing significant amounts of water to inner home during a rain storm. Reaching management was a near impossibility. Once I did reach the manager the attitude was less than Friendly. Significant cost and expense had to be incurred by homeowner in order to restore security system to working order. Little or no attempt was made to preserve security wiring. Management stands behind fine print in contract that protects them and has no acknowledgment towards any commitments made by sales staff. Crews on site did absolutely nothing in regards to Covid protection protocols and blame my 85-year-old mother for most of the mistakes that they made. Superintendent assured me that he would be on site to make sure that things went smoothly. I very specifically informed him that masks and prevention were important. There are many other companies that provide similar products and services. A radio personality is not necessarily a true representation of a company performance. Hopefully this recommendation well save others from a similar experience."

"We had an excellent experience with Renaissance Windows, from start to finish. We replaced all the windows in the house with Marvin Infinity Fiberglass double hung high efficiency windows. The visit with the sales rep, Tom, was informative, low key, and not pushy. He worked up several different packages for us over a couple weeks as we thought through the project. We had Gulf Coast Windows out just before Renaissance, and it was a high pressure sales job with a 'today only' price, which was still higher than Renaissance price for similar windows. We had planned to call another company or two for comparison, but after the positive experience with Tom and the competitive price for similar windows, we decided to go with Renaissance. The installation was amazing. We've had a lot of construction done in past few years, and we always had to watch and oversee the work closely. We quickly discovered that we didn’t have to do that with Renaissance. Philip (and his apprentice Tim) installed the windows. Philip is a true artisan and it shows. He is meticulous, for example, he found a slight dimension issue in one of the windows from the factory and pointed it out to us (we might not have noticed it). Renaissance had another window made to replace it."

It was also difficult because the windows are over 50 years old and have vinyl snap-in glazing. He tackled it with a great attitude and replaced the broken panes. In addition, he came to make the repair within 2 hours after I called. The company also offered the most competitive pricing of the 3 that were contacted. I was very satisfied with the service and highly recommend them."
