"Eric and his crew showed up at 830 and worked all day to replace our leaking water main. Every member of his crew was courteous and friendly, and the work they did appears to be top notch."

"The Safe Electric guys are great. Craig took the time to explain what needed to be done and why and how they would do it. Although they had to diagnose and repair unexpected wiring issues, they did not charge me any more than the original estimate, and they worked over the weekend to finish the job on time."

Small jobs welcome

Hi! I’m Matt and I’ve been plumbing for 2 years! I’ve worked with and installed many different systems, but I specialize in water heater install and service, repairing leaks in drainage and water pipes, and installing fixtures! I believe all work must be done neatly and to the home/business owner’s standards, no matter what.

"Tommy came on a Monday to install a replacement part in my 20-year-old Moen faucet. The company had sent me the repair kit, free. Tommy was not able to make the repair. I agreed to buy another faucet at Home Depot, and he would come back on Thursday to install it. On Thursday, he found that one of the parts of the new faucet was defective. Tommy said he would try to get a part to replace the defective one and complete the installation. I could use the faucet, but it was not securely attached to the sink. The following Monday, he brought a replacement part, but it was the wrong one. Finally, on Friday he brought a part that fit, and finished the installation. It seems as though the process was more problem-filled than one would expect, but Tommy followed up and completed the project to my satisfaction. He did not charge me for more than one trip to my house, even though he made four trips. The cost was $99 for the installation and $33 for parts"

"Kyle did an excellent job, making 6 separate repairs/replacements within a 4 hour time frame, which included an intermittent delay with the city replacing a meter. The Rooter Works is not just plumbing, I've requested a proposal from Tim Longnecker for an excavation job to replace underground PVC tubing."

"I originally wanted a shower mixing valve replaced. Scott suggested I could save a fair amount of money by replacing the valve stem and leaving the valve body in place since the valve itself was in operable condition. Scott and Ryan showed up on time, did exactly what they said they were going to do, charged me exactly what they quoted me, and left me a completed job that I no longer have to worry about. Their attitudes were great, they were friendly, and didn't seem as if they were just rushing to get home at 6:30 pm. They provided an efficient and effective repair and did not attempt to increase the amount of their revenue. I will definitely make them my standard plumbing company for future needs."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Howard, OH

Most trenchless sewer line replacements can be completed within one to three days, though this varies based on your situation. Simple repairs on accessible lines might be finished in hours, while complex systems or challenging soil conditions could extend the timeline. The reduced excavation requirements result in faster completion compared to traditional trenching methods.

Trenchless pipe lining may reduce the interior diameter of your pipes, which could affect flow capacity in already narrow lines. This method also requires the existing pipe to maintain sufficient structural integrity to support the new liner. Severely collapsed sections, major joint separations, or completely misaligned pipes might not be suitable candidates for lining and could require alternative approaches.

Trenchless sewer pipe liners are rated to last up to 50 years when properly installed and maintained. Actual longevity depends on installation quality, usage patterns, and environmental factors like soil movement or tree root intrusion. Regular maintenance and avoiding problematic disposal practices (like flushing non-biodegradable items) can help maximize your system's operational lifespan.

Trenchless technology availability varies by region, with greater accessibility in metropolitan and suburban areas where specialized contractors operate. Some rural locations may have limited access to trenchless equipment and expertise. Local regulations and soil conditions also influence availability. A professional assessment of your property and local contractor options will determine if trenchless methods are feasible for your specific location.

Professional video inspection provides the most reliable assessment of whether your sewer issues suit trenchless repair. Generally, pipes with moderate damage, like small cracks, minor leaks, or partial blockages, respond well to trenchless techniques. Completely collapsed sections, severe misalignments, or extensive structural failures might require traditional excavation. Consulting with contractors who offer both methods ensures you receive unbiased recommendations.

Quality trenchless sewer replacement often includes a workmanship guarantee from the contractor. The specific terms vary by company and region, but many professionals stand behind their installation for at least one year. Material warranties may extend longer, depending on the pipe products used. Always request written warranty information before hiring, and understand exactly what's covered and what might void your protection.
