"I needed a lot of work and repairs done in my house. I called and met with Harvey about what I wanted to be done in my home, and two days later, the work was being conducted on my house. The significant items were that I needed new basement steps, and Harvey and his crew rebuilt all the steps and railings. I had my bathroom grouted, caulked, and repaired. I needed my kitchen to be refreshed and a new kitchen floor. In addition, the kitchen, dining room, lower and upstairs hallway, and living room were in need of repair and needed to be painted. I had my entire windows repaired and corked from the inside and the outside. Harvey and his men were very professional, polite, and extremely hardworking. They showed up every day on time and worked diligently through the day. Harvey offered good ideas and suggestions on my home improvements and repairs. I was thrilled by the outcome and the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them, and I plan to use them in the future."

"Our project was a 14' x 14' screened porch. We selected Scott SCS from other contractors based on the interview, his knowledge, understanding of the project, and communication skills. He improved our original design and made numerous suggestions during the construction process. He understood our vision of the porch and he delivered. From start to finish Scott and his work crew were always on time, polite, professional, and cleaned up the area before departing every day. I was on site watching and taking photos. So I can attest to the craftmanship and attention to detail of the crew. Every day I was informed of their plans and then I provided my thoughts, ideas, and concerns. "I hired Nicopal Construction to demo and gut my finished basement. It was a horrible dirty job, so I had a very hard time finding a company that would take the job without re-finishing the basement when complete. Vincent, the very friendly owner, came by and provided an estimate. He understood that I wanted to move quickly, so he scheduled the job the following week. I really appreciated his urgency in moving on the project. First day John and Vincent came out to begin work. Don’t let John’s youthful appearance fool you. This young man is a total workhorse! He has the work ethic of a Depression era coal miner. He enjoys hard work, and, just as important, does excellent work. With any project we hit some snags, but Vincent and John were always keeping me updated. In the end; the job was completed and I am extremely satisfied with the end result. Again, special thank you to John. He really did a great job. As with any project, there is a level of stress. I have to say, Vincent was awesome to work with during the whole process. Here’s an example, after work was complete and final payment was made, there was some additional work that was missed (this was my fault and not Nicopal’s). Vincent stayed in communication with me and came back out to complete the work! I have never experienced that level of service from a contractor. Usually once they get their final payment you never see them again. This is not the case with Nicopal Construction. Thank you, Vince! You truly are a man of your word. I would highly recommend Nicopal Construction for any project. We have a few more projects in mind in the future and will be reaching out again. Thank you again guys! I appreciate the hard work."

"Mr. Powers, at first, was courteous and reliable; the project seemed to have problems, and he was getting frustrated at having to surface the existing deck due to its configuration; he claimed that the measurements and figures were off, while another professional disagreed with his calculations; the project was delayed due to materials being delayed by supplier; Mr. Powers suggested another other remedies for steps and that I purchase an additional type of board for $120, which I did; i paid Mr. Powers in full of the understanding that he would come back and finish off certain areas; during this time, a death occurred and he was unable to come when scheduled; when I texted Mr. Powers, he began belligerent, and cursed at me. I do not find it professional to curse at a client and refuse to take phone calls. I ultimately told Mr. Powers not to come back to my house and to refund the board I purchased that was in his possession. He did so. Since the time of completion, May 2026, numerous boards have come loose. I had someone else correct this issue, and now more boards are coming loose, which I texted him about and showed pictures of on September 9, 2026, and have not heard back from Mr. Powers regarding acknowledgment or addressing the loose boards, as my contract provides for two (2) years."

"Good Morning, Riverside Construction (Gary) did a major construction job for me. He was extremely reliable and maintained the timeline of completion date. He is always professional and his workers were consistently on time. Gary was responsive to me answering any questions and always responded to phone calls in a timely fashion. I would also like to add that the project was the first renovation I had done to my home. I really had no idea where to begin. Gary helped tremendously to walk me through each step, helped with color coordination and overall design. He is extremely talented. My family and friends could not give enough compliments on the finished project. I would absolutely hire him for further renovations in the future."
