Damian and the D Day Plumbing team were very professional and knowledgeable and provided an estimate with a couple different options and their related costs. They installed a new utility sink, sink pump, and needed piping and valves with tie ins to the main septic. They made improvement above and beyond the initial job breakdown, all the while staying within budget. I will certainly consider them again for any future work. "The gentleman showed up on time and used a high pressure canister tool to force the crud from the drain. This wasn't the $40 tool you'd find on Amazon, but the plumber's professional version of it. He applied two treatments and thus far the drain has worked the best since we got the house 10 years ago. Part of the problem with a bathtub drain is that it can be a nightmare to auger - I have an auger and couldn't get it to make all the twists to get to the pipe. Note that you will be required to sign a waiver that relieves him of any responsibility if the pipes burst from the air pressure involved. This is not unreasonable, and I've seen plumbers wreck drains without telling people ahead of time it could happen. If the pipe's old, and that weak, a heavy auger could wreck it as well. He'll be the first person I call if I have another drain problem."

"Russ was excellent. Our home is historic with old plumbing and he kept us informed of our options to unclog the drains and used several methods to get them working, without damaging the existing pipes. He is very knowledgeable about plumbing and materials used in the 1930's and before, and took that into consideration before performing any work. One sink drain just would not clear, so he scheduled us for a second visit, giving us time to clear out a closet, and carefully measured and cut through a small section of closet wall to get at the piping. After clearing the clog, he replaced and updated a section of piping, and was very helpful about how he thought it best to repair the wall. My husband did some minor carpentry, and both our sinks are clearing better than they have been in many years. I would definitely use Provost Plumbing and Russ for all our other plumbing jobs. He is nice, professional, and prompt!"
