"just now I had Polar Seal Windows installed in November 2019. In January 2019, I had my first leak and in February I had my second leak- water pouring in from the top. The installer came in put up a temporary fix of mounting a sheet of aluminum as an overhang. He’s not returning my phone calls or visits. When I emailed Polar Seal they it off and seemed unconcerned and unreliable. Even though the windows are not even six months old, they seem to say the temporary overhang was sufficient to stop the water from coming in the window, so that was the remedy. Obviously they’ve never heard of the legal term “fit for a particular purpose.” The legal world believes that when a consumer buys a product, the product needs to be fit for a particular purpose. When I bought these windows, I assumed that they were fit to keep water from coming into my house without an aluminum overhang. I’ve had multiple homes with multiple homes with multiple windows installed and I have never ever heard of anything so ridiculous. This is a crappy company that does not stand behind their product. Go Anywhere else- I wish did!!"

"My neighbor was having their roof replaced. Above Roofing’s crew drove their portable dumpster on our property without permission. And not by just a little bit. And their crew chief lied about it to my wife. I have no respect for liars. Take a look at the picture, the green utility boxes in front of the black truck mark the property line and my property is to the left of them."

"Failure to finish the job on an egress window. Trashed the landscaping, tore out the downspouts. Buried the damage and after first heavy rain the basement flooded. These people are frauds. Do not let them put any windows in.?"

"I hired Sharp Construction to Replace our Roof, Replace the Gutters on the house, Replace two windows in our Garage and replace carpet in two of our rooms. In all areas they did a 5 star job. We new there were leaks in our roof and would need to be addressed. The installers did a great job and went above expectations. On all projects the cleanup was exceptional and they would arrive in the times that they provided. Sharp was very detailed in the scope of work and also in the preparing of the work. It was a great pleasure to work with Dan W and the Sharp team. I would not hesitate to hire them again. "I purchased a metal roof. The installers removed all the old asphalt shingles, put down a new roof deck, covered the new roof deck with asphalt, and installed the steel roof on top of that. The roof looks even better than I thought it would. It almost has the appearance of slate or tile because of the texture. I did not purchase the premium roof package, and am pleased with the look. Six crew members arrived and worked hard for 3 full days, with only a short break for lunch. They were polite, professional, thoroughly cleaned up each day before leaving, and returned promptly the next morning to finish up the work. The double lifetime warranty against leaks takes all worries away after purchasing a 1950's home. The roof was expensive, but with energy savings, homeowner's insurance savings, and increased resale value for my home, it will be worth the expense. The chimney flashing that came with the new roof is 10 times better than the flashing and tar that was there before. Financing was quick and easy and pre-job and after-job communication has been very good. By the way, I had AWS entry doors installed on this old house and there were no drafts at all. My house was warm and draft free all winter."

"Unlike the 4 other window companies, including Andersen, I had look at my windows for replacement, Window World's sales reps came with a checklist with prices. I knew exactly how much I was paying the day the rep came to my house. The other companies would not give me quotes, stating "let us know what the other companies say" or "we'll cut you deals if you say yes today". Window World's being upfront on prices was greatly appreciated. The work crew was quick, professional, and polite, and the windows (made by Window World) look fantastic. The sun comes through better, but they also are better insulated than my previous windows. I am very satisfied with the results."
