" Initially, we contacted the owner Scott Whitelaw in March 2016. Eventually we agreed on the June start time, in June the project started as planned. We needed to have our concrete and brick front steps repaired and replaced with granite slabs.  The concrete was repaired and slabs replace and the concrete was stained. I was concerned about getting the right kind of stain color for the overall look of the project, and Scott worked very well and very patiently with me to see that we were satisfied. Once I was able to select the brick product the brick walkway was laid exactly to our expectations. We required a curve in the walkway and Scott was able to meet our expectations. We asked for an estimate and it was send quickly and was a very good price. The team showed up on time and not only were they professional they were very personable. "My house was built in 1850. The chimney was in bad shape. Bricks were coming off. The house is 3 stories tall with a steep roof. Rock Solid showed up on time on the date they said and got right to work. They also provided me with proof of insurance. 3 guys worked all day on it. They removed the old bricks and mortar down to the roof line and built a new chimney from the roof up using new brick. They then installed a top quality stainless steel cap. My chimney is only used to vent a gas water heater now. We have no fireplaces and the new furnace vents out the side of the house.
They were working in 90 degree plus heat with no shade 3 stories up. Great job. The chimney came out great. Looks better than ever.  Most companies I called wouldn't even get on such a high roof or they wanted all my money and my first born to do the work.  Rock Solid was very reasonable, professional, fast, and they cleaned up everything before they left. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. I highly recommend them."

"The above described work was done over a period of 3 years. During that time the quality of the work has been very good, project costs very reasonable, and schedules adherence excellent. 
While painting the exterior of my house, a large section of rotted siding / fraing was uncovered. The unexpected repairs were done quicly, efficiently, without any change order mark-ups, all as part of the project.
Replacing the windows at the church property required gaining access to 2 units rented out to 3rd parties. There wwere never any issues raised about costs / schedule delays that may have been impacted due to the need to coordinate with the tenants. Replacing all of the siding on the church owned apartment building (done in a historic district) was done professionally, with high levels of concern for safety (both for the workers and the public in the vicinity of the work area), cleanliness,and proper execution of the work.
Working with Ivaldo is more of a partnership where the goal of completing the job is considered paramount, not the profit at the end of the work. When applicable, Ivaldo has also offered alternative means of completing a given task which will cost the owner less, thus less income for Escala, but as I tried to indicate earlier it seems the "relationship" is more important to Ivaldo than short term profits.
