He went out to our soon to be property and measured everything and called me back with some options and quotes. He seemed very nice and professional over the phone so we took a chance and sent him a deposit. We are so glad we did. As soon as we closed escrow on the house he and his crew were in our back yard doing the install. They did a great job and finished when promised for a very reasonable price. "That was it.  Brad Rogers came, did a detailed evaluation of the whole house painting job, made several GREAT suggestions and promised to have me an estimate on the work in a few days.  I gave him my email address and he said he would send me the estimate of work.  Then nothing.  I waited.  I never heard from him.  I finally had to look elsewhere.
Even though I needed the entire house painted (two stories with a front, side and back porch) with some carpentry repair, he gave me the impression during the evaluation that my job was too small, from some of his comments ("we have done a lot bigger jobs than this" or "I can work you in").  He may have been joking, but since he didn't get back to me on an estimate, I may have been correct in my feelings.

"The estimator was very knowledgeable and explained his products and services very well.  He provided a detailed plan and estimate.
The installation was done all in one day - including removal of the old counter top and the installation of the new counter top - and it was done on the pre-scheduled day.  Sears was excellent at accommodating our scheduling restrictions.  The new counter top looks nice and we are very happy with the result.
There were a few glitches - the garbage disposal leaked and needed service, and it was tough to get an updated estimate when we made a mid-stream change - but we were still very happy with the result.
Note that the Sears office that we dealt with is in Sharon Hill PA, not in Windsor Mill MA as listed by Angie's List, and the corporate headquarters is in Longwood FL.
