"Tyler was very professional and polite. He kept us informed on the operation and when they would return, which was very much appreciated. Tyler and his crew worked during 10° weather, all the time dedicated to getting the job done. Also they brought out a large piece of an old blanket type insulation from the crawl space and it froze to the ground and I told them just to leave it that we would take care of it. But when they left they had removed that piece. Tyler and his crew were remarkable!!!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"I spoke to Ever about doing the concrete work, and he gave me a good price. I asked him to please not ruin my flowers in the front, and he is a man of his word. They did a good job for me and it was done in a timely manner. They showed up early in the morning and continued until the work was done. I would definitely recommend The Strong Hand for any kind of concrete work."

"My real estate agent recommended Jeff Bolt of Concrete Leveling of Kansas. He responded immediately after my initial call to get a quote. Jeff showed up for the job on the dot, was very efficient, and cleaned up. The driveway looked like new. Jeff even came by a second time about a week later to make sure that everything was good."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Hutchinson, KS

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
