"I am a 74 yr old disabled Navy Vet who over my lifetime repaired and installed various electrical and electronic devices for family, friends and myself. Now due to my health, I no longer am able to do this, so I am at the mercy of others to fix things. Our blower motor and start/run capacitor went out in a Lennox Propane furnace in February of 2018 and with my son's assistance the repaired was made. In Spring of 2019, I told my son that we needed to replace the start/run capacitor and the contactor as a preventative maint issue before the capacitor went bad and damaged something else. We failed to follow-up, and on an extremely hot and humid day in June, the start/run capacitor failed and my son, who went to school with Travis Byrd, suggested we let him do the work. Really good advice. My son called Travis and he came over very quickly, and quickly confirmed the start/run capacitor had failed. Travis had a heavy duty direct replacement capacitor on his truck and it was Made in the USA. I asked him to also replace the contactor with a heavy duty Made in the USA part. Travis had that part on his truck as well and replaced it. Travis only uses heavy duty American made parts when available. Travis also charges by the job after arriving and not by the hour. His prices per job are much lower than most others per hour prices. Travis did an excellent repair at a very reasonable price using heavy duty American made parts. Travis then checked to see if I needed any refrigerant as a no-cost courtesy and the refrigerant amount was within specs. He explained his Spring/Fall low cost HVAC preventative maintenance program to me and I am going to sign up for that now. Because of Travis and his prompt, friendly, professional customer service HVAC repair, I am now confident that I have found the best company for any future HVAC problems. I highly recommend Travis Byrd for any HVAC repair that you may have."

"Service tech, arrived late Service tech, left parts off the unit when putting it back together. Assumed service would include cleaning filters. Tech found leak in evaporator coil. To replace part under warranty, was quoted $1400. For a covered part. When I asked for a break down of quote, I was not given one. I have asked for over 3 days with no response. Spoke with owner Zeek, who claimed he would get back to me. He has not. The system tune up, is a joke, if you do not have problem with your system, it is of no value. I believe it is just away for the company to find something wrong and rape you on the cost to fix. When called out on how they arrive at a price for repair, company refused to break it down, for parts and materials. Since the part was covered under warranty the bulk of the price is labor. I found a competitor to do the work for just under $700. The same work Acosta was charging me $1400 for. Buyer beware of Acosta."

"I highly recommend you go with Horne for all your HVAC and hot water heater needs. (Now the details) The great people at Horne replaced most of the duct work in my 60 year old home (2500 sq. ft.) and replaced a 20+ year old gas furnace and AC unit. They also replaced a 20 year old hot water heater with a high-end tankless water heater, even mounting it to a concrete wall. This was a big project and the team at Horne was fantastic through the entire process. Marlon who quoted the job was very knowledgeable about my options and pricing, and was available afterwards to answer all our questions before we decided on Horne. All the technicians were very detailed oriented, highly skilled, and a pleasure to have around my house. Jason was the site manager and his expert knowledge was critical given the complexity of replacing duct work in a 60 year old home, as well as, custom installing a high capacity tankless water heater. Big shout out to Nicholas, Jamal, and Jose who were in our house day in and day out. They were fantastic! Given the complexity and work needed, Richard and Brant also stopped by to lend a hand and provide their own special skills to the job. All of them were knowledge, hard-working, and very friendly. He was about to finish for the evening but said he could pass by around 2130 to have a look at my unit. "I hired GSM Services to replace my A/C unit and furnace with a newer, upgraded system. A few weeks ago Kelly came to my house to give me an estimate for a new heating and air system. He was on time and very professional. He surveyed my existing system, took measurements of my house, and did some calculations to determine exactly what type and capacity system that I would need. He showed and explained to me several options as well as their prices. He wasn’t pushy as he left in order to give me time to review the different options before making my decision. I called the office the next day with my decision and to set up a date and time for installation. Today (May 22) Kyle and Craig showed up on time and were extremely professional as well. They worked from 8:30 to 5:30 completing the replacement of my entire heating/air system. The field team leader also showed up just to ensure that everything was going smoothly. They were very helpful in answering any questions that I had throughput the day and they took the time to explain to me about the new system after installation was complete (I.e. how to operate the new programmable thermostat).
