"WyattWorks did a fantastic job replacing 3 toilets in our house while installing "slow close" lids. The work was done seamlessly and there wasn't any "hassling" or "up-selling" during the process. Smooth and efficient! I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs."

"Had other options but I got lucky with the experienced plumber sent to my house. In 2018 Ben Franklin plumbing made huge mistakes on a new water line install and made a mess of everything. Mr. Rooter was able to quickly identify and fix the problem with my main water line for thousands less than other big national chains."

"GREAT, HONEST, HARDWORKING, SUPERIOR! Over the past 3 years we have had issues with our main sewer line and worked to treat the roots. Unfortunately this year (2018) the main line hit the wall and was time to replace! Not to mention it completely clogged. I got about 8 quotes.. I was amazing that some of the companies wanted just a text and picture of the area and they would come back with a high $$ quote... I asked how they arrived at that.. these companies said "oh we use google maps and your picture" to quote. Not the team from Superior Plumbing. Mike with SP came out Day one, we discussed the real issues and formulated a good plan to fix it. They wrote me a quote on the spot which was not only completely fair but would solve the main drain line completely by installing a new one. Keep in mind, I have a family and let me say with a main line sewer line.. time is ticking... the household can't flush, no laundry, dishes, showers.. so you want to go quickly on projects like this but also get a fair price. That was definitely the case with Superior. They were able to come out next day and start... installed brand new sewer line with extra clean outs and solved other issues as well, found additional cracks with the end of the sewer line and repaired on the spot. Overall an AMAZING INSTALL JOB and completely fixed the sewer line! Overall SUPER FRIENDLY TEAM, FAIR PRICES, GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP (they know their trade) and SUPER NICE (Southern Hospitality) which is what I like the most. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I will be having them back soon for a Water Heater install soon. THANK YOU SUPERIOR!! KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!"

"Ned, MKB Plumber, did a fantastic job installing our laundry sink. He was on time and came back the next day to complete the project. The workmanship was top notch. We also liked that Ned wore his mask in our home. We will recommend MKB to our family and friends. I also interviewed 3 other plumbers. MKB was the best value overall. I like the way that they have trip charges and hourly rates. The other plumbers had set cost that could not be easily evaluated or justified."

"The individual who came to my house to give me an estimate did an outstanding job explaining everything. Due to the extensive modification that would have been required to install a tankless water heater I replaced the existing water heater in kind. I would not hesitate to hire them for future work."

"After 18 estimates, yes, 18... I FINALLY found the right company. I needed a tub replaced, and new back kit. Loweâ s came in at 10014.00, Home Depot came in at 9736.47, Bathfitters (don't EVER go there) came in at 9500.00 and then when I said no, they called back the next day and told me 5800.00 (like, where does 4K go???) Anyway, I digress... after contractors, handypersons, etc., who were all still over 5k, I said to myself... just see if a plumber can at least put in a new tub and figure out the walls later. IN WALKED Scott, With Carolina Plumbing Pros. The nicest guy, reviewed and listened to what I had been through, went outside to write up the estimate and he came in at 2010.00 !!!!!!!!!! I hired them on the spot since all the reviews on Home Advisor were so awesome. I just had to order the tub, the surround, the valve kit, shower head/faucet, etc., which came to a grand total of 856.32 - so, I spent 2866.32 and saved myself over 3K from the lowest estimate. I'd say, that I am immensely happy. Tub is now in, surround is up. He took everything out of the bathroom too for that price! I didnâ t have to do any demo by myself! I do have to install drywall and tile up to the ceiling, but I already had the tile, so I am good with that and I love to tile. He completed the work in one day, and cleaned up after the work was done. That is so important!!! Carolina Plumbing Pros and Scott were my lifesavers. I have family coming in at the end of the month and the clock was ticking! They got me in the day after the tub/surround, was delivered by Home Depot. I have his number as a favorite. I have given his info to 4 of my friends already that asked me for a plumber referral. If you are at your wits end, or just starting your search.... stop and call Scott. You'll save yourself time, money, headaches, HEARTACHES and you'll get excellent pricing, excellent workmanship and a company and plumber that you can TRUST~! 20 years in Charlotte and I have finally found my forever plumbing company!!! Thank you Scott!"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Indian Trail, NC

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
