"Switch Electric upgraded our electrical service from its original 60A to 200A, added a subpanel and outlet in the garage to support an EV, and a generator plug and transfer switch. Alex and his team did an excellent job over the two days of work. I could not be happier. Great communication and fantastic work. I'm extremely pleased with the end result. I'll be using Switch again for future projects and for anyone looking for a recommendation."

"Beeline electric provided excellent customer service and were so friendly both on the phone and in-person. They provided service for us last-minute on Christmas Eve (!) and placed our minds at rest to provide what now is safe, efficient heating in our studio. Thank you Beeline. We highly recommend Beeline."

"They are professional, communicate well, and everything is handled via official documents. They also install newer modern lights with optional smart-switches if you're the kind of person that wants to take advantage of them. They're great"

"Based on Angi, Yelp and Google reviews, we chose a couple of well-reviewed, Generac-certified companies to come out for estimates for installing a whole-house generator. Given the amount of house/property that we wanted to power (our house, septic, well, mother-in-law dwelling, etc.), both recommended the 26kW and both were about the same price for installation. But we liked Joseph's knowledge, honesty and responsiveness to our email/text questions afterward, so we went with Smart Electric. Lead electrician Keith and crew were prompt, friendly and professional throughout the installation on the day we had scheduled. A wiring issue required Keith to return for several Saturday visits, and we appreciated his communication and determination to make sure we were completely satisfied. We would definitely call Smart Eclectic again."

"Turns out there was water damage behind a wall, which had caused the circuit to short. The electrician advised that I get a water damage company to tear down that wall and fix the cause of the leak. Then his company would come back to replace the wiring. He also noticed that my outlets and switches were not up to code, and gave me an estimate to replace those. He went ahead and fixed one switch for me as part of the diagnostic and troubleshooting visit (which was about $315 with tax)."

"In-House electric was amazing from beginning to the end. Our little project turned into a total rewire (due to old knob and tube wiring). The cost was the best out of three other companies and they started the job within a week. Ryan and Eli were amazing!!! They were always on time and communicated with us their process, gave advice regarding placement of lights and listened to our concerns. I would highly recommend this company for any small or big job!!! Thank you In-House Electronic!"

"Steve did an amazing job, was stressed about the delicate wood where the electrical box had to be cut and then the fan installed but Steve did it perfect. Thank you again for everything."

FAQs for electrical switches, outlets & fixtures install or repair projects in Issaquah, WA

Wiring conversions for relocating outlets require upgrading the existing wiring to the correct amperage before installing the new outlet. This step ensures that the circuit safely supports the outlet's power demand. Engaging a professional guarantees that the alterations meet current electrical standards, thereby ensuring a safe and efficient installation overall.

Installing an outlet can be completed in 30 minutes, but professionals charge a minimum labor fee covering one to two hours of work. This fee accounts for travel, setup, and any extra tasks that may be required during the installation process. Bundling additional services with the installation can lead to overall cost savings while upholding stringent safety standards.
