"I had need for a relatively quick turnaround for upgrading of a worn out kitchen.  Called Competitive Painters and Robert Coulter came to discuss options.  I should mention that I had two other companies come to provide estimates.  The owner of one of them, a highly rated Angies List company, spent most of her time telling me that I should talk to a real estate agent about how my kitchen should look.  She had no helpful ideas or suggestions.  In contrast, Mr. Coulter explained several options - including services that his company could not provide.  He pointed me to a reasonably-priced granite counter top provider and Competitive Painters prepared and painted all of the kitchen cabinets.  They worked within my limited time period and coordinated their work with the countertop company.  The work they did was neat and professional.  I was very pleased with the results.

Tea and George have so much pride in their workmanship that they were visibly frustrated when trying to deal with the many imperfections of my house (uneven walls, floors, and corners), out of concern that it might diminish their perfectly constructed unit. "The whole process was relatively smooth. the sales person was good and knowledgeable. After signing the contract, two person crew came to measure. It took about a month and a half before windows were ready. Scheduling during the winter was a bit difficult, but it was not their problem. In bad weather, I would not want them climbing a tall ladder to install the window. Install was done professionally. We are satisfied. We would use them again.

"I called Juan who responded quickly with an appointment in my home to give a free estimate. He took measurements, explained what needed to be done and then provided a detailed estimate. (I had received other estimates, but they were not detailed and specific.) Before work began, I realized that my baseboards were also in bad shape and inquired if they could replace them also. They gave me a reasonable price on the spot. Flavio and his crew were exceptional. They worked diligently to repair the floor and replace boards that were damaged. I am so happy not to hear the floor squeak anymore and the beauty of the refinished wood makes me smile everyday."

"This is the second time that George's Painting has done work for us.  They have always been prompt and responsive and they do a wonderful job, which they stand behind.  We had exterior work done and it rained the day that they finished up ... Jorge came back and fixed what the rain had damaged as soon as the weather allowed.  We weren't initially happy with the color chosen for the basement stairs; they were repainted with a new color at no additional charge.  We are very happy with their work and will definitely use them again.  The price is on the high side but the quality of the work makes it worth it.
