"Everything went really well! They did an excellent job!!! Can't say enough good things about our overall experience, from them working around us being in and out of the house to the thoroughness of the job that was done. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with how everything came out and will be using them again!"

"They showed up on time early in the morning, and were done by early afternoon. All the old shingles and debris were thrown into a large container they brought. They also did cleanup with magnets when they finished, to make sure there were no nails left on the ground. Several of the boards in my roof had been broken by the previous roofer, who didn't do any repairs before laying down their shingles. L&M replaced those boards when they removed the old shingles. They also did really good work around the chimney, installing a barrier to steer rain water away from the chimney and toward the gutters. The new shingles look really nice, and I've had no problem with the roof since the work was done. I also rehired them about a year later to install a roof vent for my bathroom fan. They did an excellent job on that as well, for about $250-300 (can't find the receipt for that).
"

"Liberty General Construction was used for an insurance claim. The ceiling had been damaged when a water pipe became loose. One crew cut out the area, and patched it with new wall board. Another crew re-textured the ceiling. A third party painted. The work moved quickly. Greg stayed in constant touch with us. I'm very satisfied. I would use them again for household repairs and contracting needs.

"

"Mr Dias is a good, hardworking man that really cared about the quality of work he performed and the satisfaction he provided to us in our project. His down to earth ability and patience to work with us at reasonable prices was a blessing and put our minds at ease in the contractor hiring experience. He was very flexible on several occasions and kept us updated on project progress, complete with pics, and worked with us to make hard deadlines. He earned our appreciation for a job well done. One warning, he does sing sometimes when he is working, not so good on the ears, but just turn up the tv, shut the door and let him do a good job for you on your project."

"I came across Unique Construction Services UCS while searching for a local company to take on these repairs as soon as possible. For starters, UCS customer service was absolutely amazing, they were able to get a tech out that same evening to further look over the damages and within 48 hours I was given an excellent cost to repair. They were able to have repairs underway quickly and were complete within a matter of days despite the severe weather. The techs that completed the work were given very high praise from the manager of the store and are very pleased with the repairs, as well as the Corp heads funding the repairs. I will certainly be using UCS in the future and HIGHLY recommend Unique Construction Services to anyone out there needing construction work done."

"Charlie is fantastic to work with! Very professional, punctual, and polite. He was easy to reach, and stayed in contact with me over a very busy multi-week schedule for both him and me (holidays) to get the work day confirmed and then the work completed. Charlie did a great job! So happy to have found Charlie! Will definitely call him again for future woodworking needs.
"

"Background:
In September of 2012 I called East Tennessee Continuous Guttering to give an estimate on replacement of gutters and downspouts and vinyl siding for my whole house. Their estimate was good, the company seemed reputable, and they specified a 2 year warranty on labor, so I went with them.
First thing in this review, I'd like to tell you about their supposed 2 year labor warranty: they will not stand behind it. Instead, they will try and come out to quote you a replacement of whatever item on your house that has since become a problem since the installation of siding by their company.
My Problem:
Since my siding was installed in October, a colder month, the caulking that they applied around my aluminum windows shrank up. This caused a slow leak of water to come into all of my windows during hard rains, damaging my drywall on the bottom inside corners of all my windows. I called to have them send someone out to re-caulk around the windows (they're all second floor windows), which they did after having to call them back several times. Once they arrived, they saw the completely shrunk caulk, admitted that it was due to caulking in cold months, said that this very rarely happens because they normally don't caulk when it's cold, and proceeded to re-caulk the windows. I told the worker that came out that I would be calling the office back to discuss them patching up the drywall damage on the interior of my windows that was caused by their lack of a quality caulking job. A week went by and I called to tell them that they need to fix the drywall in order to fully repair the damage that they caused. I was told they would speak with the people in charge of claims and they would get back with me. My concern was just recently addressed today, by them calling to set up a time for them to quote me some new windows.
My windows are fine. They are aluminum windows that do not leak one bit. The only reason people commonly replace aluminum windows with vinyl is for the sake of energy efficiency. They do not inherently start to leak due to being 20 years old. The only way they leak, is if water leaks around them, which should have been stopped by a solid, freshly applied bead of caulk.
My Reasoning:
This was a foreclosure that was vacant for over a year before I purchased it. There was no damage to any of the interior drywall around the windows when I purchased this home, and I know this because my home inspector would have noticed such obvious damage around a very common item checked in home inspections. My inspector is extremely thorough and noticed the smallest items of concern, so something so obvious would not have been missed. Only a month after having that inspection, I was having siding put on my house. After their job was complete, I started to see damage around every single window in the house. I checked around them, and saw large gaps where caulking should have been. So if it sat for a year with no maintenance, and had no damage around the windows, then all of a sudden after the siding is done, every window shows damage, I know it was them that caused it.
Not to mention they admitted that the caulking shrank up due to them installing it during a cold month.
The Good:
If you have siding done on your house, request that Eric leads the crew. You will not be sorry. He is a solid craftsman with years of experience, and takes extreme pride in his work. He is there to work for YOU, and to make you happy. He did a great job on making the siding look great.
The Bad:
The work for siding and gutters took about 4-6 weeks to complete, when they originally estimated about a week, and I have a normal sized house (1600 Sq Ft), with siding only on the top half, and brick on the bottom half. Admittedly, it took so long because Eric takes his time on the job to ensure it is done right. So I never complained about the length of time it took. I'd rather they stick around doing a quality job, than come and get it done in 3 days.
They also put up the wrong color of gutters the first time around, and I had to have them change it out (which they did no problem).
Conclusion:
East Tennessee Continuous Guttering is only as good as the people that they send out. If it wasn't for getting Eric to do the siding job, I wouldn't have thought the experience was very positive. I see that their main downside is they do not stand behind their labor warranty, so that is basically a worthless feature of their company.
"

"Once we finally found a date that fit into both of our schedules, I had to call him at 5:00am, just hours before he was to be at my house, to cancel due to the birth of my grandson. He took the news very well, congratulating me and telling me not to worry about the short notice. He showed up right on time on the rescheduled date.
Once he removed the old door, he found that the brick on the house had been added, which I did not know, and he had to correct to correct the opening in order to be able to install the new door jamb. He did an excellent job and both doors looked better than I had expected. He didn't charge me any extra for the extra work he had to do to the house because of the siding. He came back the next day to install the trim around the door and showed up when he said he would. He noticed that I had an opening to the crawl space under my house and cut the old door to fit into the space and cleaned up after himself. I am very pleased with the way the doors look and work.
I have already asked him to quote on a couple of other jobs around my house.

"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Jacksboro, TN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
