"I received a few different estimates from contractors with good reviews. The estimates ranged from $3000 to over $9000 to convert a shower wall to a half wall, raise the shower ceiling, add a vent fan, and replace all the tile. Island Paint was just slightly over the lowest bid but would not be using subcontractors and could work with the very tight time frame I had to renovate between tenants. From the very beginning the owner Mike was able to provide guidance through the process and assist with decisions of how to expand the small and dated shower without blowing the budget. The workers that ultimately performed the work were very knowledgeable and provided service beyond any that was expected. We ultimately missed the deadline by a day, but it was due to issues with my 20 year old plumbing and a few upgrade choices that I made. The guys worked over the weekend to make up the time and ensure that the tenants could move in as scheduled. I would recommend this company hands down and plan to use them in the future for my other rentals and personal property."
