"Did not acquire the automobile so the services were not needed. However, the company was very responsive with a comprehensive bid and an appropriate followup. I would give them the opportunity to bid again should the need arise again in future."

"I wanted to replace two 40 gal water heaters with one 50 gal water heater in my house as they were old and didn’t want them to rust out and flood my basement. I called several plumbers out to quote the job, but for me RJ Graham was the right choice. The plumber that came out was very professional. He answered all my questions, took pictures of the area for his notes and was thorough when quoting the job. They amount they quoted was reasonable. The price they quoted was exactly what i paid. The job was done well. The new water heater they installed is a Bradford White. They used crimp joints for the copper lines instead of soldering them together. So you don’t have to worry about them starting a fire in your house trying to solder the copper pipe. They also rerouted some gas lines as well. No leaks and the water heater has been working well so far. And the finished work looks nice as well. Would recommend them for another job."

"The purchase of my new kitchen cabinets and counter tops went great, sales rep Greg was very attentive to all questions I had, made adjustments as needed, pricing was good, and they are made right on the premise, they came out to measure, delivery time was great, thought it would take maybe 4-6 weeks, we got in 2 weeks, delivery was on time promised, we did our own install. Counter tops were ordered and delivered 6 days later, installers were GREAT, Rodrigo and partner were on time promised, very professional, friendly, quick, cleaned up after, would not even know they were there, except for my new counter tops. Would definitely recommend Factory Plaza Per the picture the installers will do what is needed to get the job done 🙂"

"The strong storm blew down our fence a few years ago. He totally re-did our entire fence. He made sure he did a really good job. He did not leave us in a situation; he stayed until the job was done. He has also did flood lights for us. Never had any worries. Very honest. Had a nice group who works with him. He even promised to come back to fix an attic fan. He did not charge me a thing to replace the old with the new. He is a fantastic person and someone you can trust."

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Jacksonville, IL

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
