"Could not have gone better! The only thing I could even possibly fault them for was not arriving as early as they said they would. This is at least partly because of rain, but also, they knew I was not on a time schedule. So, they're late arrival would not be a problem for me. For other individuals, I would assume they would be more timely, or be in touch with the homeowner about it. They kept me informed as to their progress verbally, by email and with photos of the work. I was told the job would take 3-4 days. And in spite of nearly continuous rain, it still only took them about 4 and a half days. They worked very smartly indoors while it rained and took advantage of every break in the rain to work outside. I very much appreciated them not just openning up all of the skylight opennings in the hope that the rain would stop. They also started only 1 day later than planned- again due to rain and being unable to get all of the wood stained on time. They had the stain professionally color matched. So the wood color is perfect. With this and their excellent carpentry skills, no one would know that these widows had just been replaced & weren't original- except for, of course, the fact that they are brand new in a 45 year old house. What I'm trying to say, is that they are just impeccable! The exact size skylights, to match the old, were no longer available, but they improvised a little extra "moulding" (for lack of a more accurate term) that makes the skylights appear to be just as they are supposed to look. It just looks like a little bit of additional architecture- and beautiful! The crew was friendly, good natured and hard workers. There were no additional charges. I paid them exactly what they bid. They moved and covered all of the furniture and when finished, they moved it all back to my satisfaction- including unhooking and moving a stero system and re-hooking it up. They seemed very happy to please me and I greatly appreciated their excellent service. They also kept all of the stickers and info from the windows, with the U values and solar heat gain co-efficient, etc.., for me for future reference or for when I sell my home to show the quality of the windows to a buyer. In my experience, unless I specifically have asked for the info to be saved, most contractors just throw all that valuable info away. I don't know what else to say, except that I have also now asked them to give me a bid on roof extensions and steel siding also for my home. Ben provided a ton of photos. I have put 3 of them here. If you want an excellent job done, call Ben at Installers Now, LLC--- Oh, and don't be fooled during your interview with him while he is measuring. He may measure many times, and often-times repeat himself. It was a bit off-putting for me to begin with, but he is a perfectionist. I finally recognized that through all of my questions and interactions while I was evaluating several contractors for the job. So glad I did!"

"Terry came to the rescue again! Recent projects he has handled for us inclide: 1. A deck update. Some boards were in need of replacing 2. A complete bathroom remodel. He took a jack and jill bathroom and turned it into a beautiful handicap accessible bathroom and a powder room. 3. Total roof replacement, code compliant. He even installed a new metal roof. 4. Various electrical projects. Certain outlets needed updating, as well as some wiring issues. 5. Using his connections to reputable tradesman with other skills. Terry either fixes it himself or uses his friends and connections to find other tradesman who can get the job done. Fir example, he used a tile man on the bathroom project."

"Great! What I like about Nick is I think your satisfaction matters to him as much as it does to you. He's a down to earth guy, that takes pride in the job and wont settle for junk work from subs, so you can trust that you wont be giving him an extensive punch list. The windows on the property look and work great, as does the siding and roof."

"Over the Top replaced our 50+year old wood siding on our garage and back porch with SmartSide. They also replaced a garage window. We are SO PLEASED with the result! I thought it was priced very fairly and the crew that worked here were professional and hard workers. I'd definitely call them again! Chris G was GREAT to work with!"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Janesville, WI

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
