"G.L. Hunt was very professional, educational, and compassionate. They provided us with 3 different estimates depending if we wanted all concrete or concrete and steal or all steel (good, better and best). They explained everything to us where we could understand. They answered all of our questions and concerns. They did initial measurements for free and did measurements before lifting the house and after. I asked G.L Hunt to redo all measurements after they raised the house so I could see the differences myself, G.L. Hunt Foundation went on and above what we expected. They ensured us everything was okay. G.L. Hunt walked though every area in my home and outside with my husband. They informed us, they will provide us with free soil just in case we get sink holes from where they where digging and refills the holes they dug up. The areas we thought needed to be redone i.e. mortar and chalking touch ups G.L. Hunt came out the net day and redid everything we asked them to redo. The also informed us to call them after 90 days and they will redo measurements again to ensure everything was okay. They advised us to put up glitters around the house and they did checked our plumbing under the house within 30 days to ensure our plumbing was okay after lifting the house. "We could not be more thrilled with how our driveway turned out! Oscar and team were amazing! 
Short version:  Do not hesitate to utilize their services! You will NOT be disappointed!
Long version:  Our home was built in the 1920's, and the driveway to the garage was SUPER steep. We drive a low to the ground electric car, so we really needed to be able to get into the garage in order to park the car. 
My engineer-amazing husband calculated a way to slightly curve the driveway and used spray paint to indicate what the path of the driveway needed to be. They happily took on the challenge! The got rid of all the cracked old concrete, laid a great foundation, and then got to work with the pavers. They managed to make our driveway not only beautiful, but also functional!!! 
We also had a drain issue which they helped us to resolve to ensure that our garage does not get any water inside it. They were quick to respond, professional, friendly, and most importantly, did FANTASTIC work.

"Foundation was repaired and leveled, but the person who came out to give the quote indicated that the skirting would be repaired and that a rotted beam at the front of the house would be replaced, and that all piers would be strapped with five (5) straps for lateral stability. The piers were replaced but only one strap was used, several of them were broken, and the rotted beam was not replaced. I didn't say anything about it when the repair was done, so they may have fixed those things if I'd been more on the ball about inspecting their work. But I don't think the details of the repair were well communicated to the work crew. The actual installation of the piers went well and the house is still level, so the main purpose of the job was achieved well enough."

Our neighborhood had applied for a Neighborhood Partnering Program grant from the City of Austin Public Works Department, a program that supports community initiated projects with matching funds from the community.  After hearing our story, owner Jaye Stark offered an in-kind donation for the labor on the project.  Because this is a cost sharing program, the $3600 value attached to the labor both decreased the total cost of the project AND counted toward our match.  Mason Man's contribution helped us to win the grant!

Since everything with the City seems to take a really long time, Jaye has been super patient with the delays, but once we got the green light, he was able to get us on his schedule fairly quickly.  His guys really did great work and paid close attention to detail with the pattern and color of the natural stone.
