"I wanted to wait a bit before reviewing to see how the material has held up and it's been fantastic. LT repaired our flood damaged driveway with TxDOT quality gravel base vs. just junk like some fly-by-night firms. We've had heavy rains in the two weeks since and the base has been almost as firm and dense as concrete! The best thing is the fact that Tim and his brother Ray both are excellent communicators- you are never left wondering about anything. They also discuss the project first and then have a professional final scope of work agreement that you don't sign or pay until then. That tells anyone that they have great relationships with their material providers. They were on time, even with challenging conditions. I AM bringing them back to do our concrete driveway once we get some other key work done."

They were all hard working, kept a clean worksite, provided all their own equipment, and they all had excellent skills and craftsmanship! Tony used very reliable subcontractors for concrete pour, stamping and stain. His electrician, masonry, and granite contractors were top notch! Tony and his sons installed our pergola and it's impressive! I had told him in the beginning I was working on a time limit and needed the project completed well before a set date and he made sure it happened! "Rene showed up the day he said he would to give my mother a quote for the work. After giving the quote I called Rene back so he could come out again and speak with me about the details and pricing of the work. Rene had no problem coming back and within 24 hours of my request, when he arrived he was very professional and gave a detailed plan about what he intended to do. 
He said he would start the work the next day after other contractors said it would take them 1-3 weeks to start. Rene showed up the next day at 8AM and began the work. The whole process took less than a week even with all the rain we got. Each day Rene showed up early to check on the progress and would either stay to work or would let us know that he couldnt work that day because of the rain or because the cement had not dried completely. 
Rest assured that when you hire Alcala Masonry that Rene Alcala himself will be onsite throughout the process working on the project. Previous contractors would either sub-contract the workout or would only have their workers work on the project and we would never see or hear from the "management."

Repeated attempts to contact the contractor to get them to clean off the walkway properly have failed. Contractor states he will come by a certain date or call back but never does. Ratings have been updated."

"First, let me say that my back yard was a disaster!!  The grass & weeds were at least 5 feet tall and it looked like an overgrown jungle.  Rogers Services showed up on time and got right to work!  Even though the deal I purchased was for "2 workers for 2 hours or 1 worker for 4 hours", Rogers Services showed up with 5 guys!  They mowed the grass, weeded the beds, cleaned out unwanted plants, and raked up the leaves.  They cleaned up everything and hauled away the excess.  They finished everything in about an hour.  They even checked with me several times during the process to be sure they were doing exactly what I wanted.  I was so impressed!  Would use them again for sure!"
