"We worked with Adrian (owner of MAZ Contractor Services) on bathroom remodeling for both the master bath and guest bathroom. Both of the bathrooms were old and dated. It was a gut job and total renovation for the big bathroom, converting tub/shower combo to a walk-in shower. The second bathroom was remodeled on a budget (new granite countertop, new paint, new LVP flooring, new epoxy paint for the bathroom wall tile, new LED ceiling light). The final results from both bathrooms were BEAUTIFUL! They look high class with high quality finishes, great design and color scheme. These are the things that set Adrian and his company/crew apart from other construction groups out there: 1) Once they start the work, they come every day to work on it. If there is a waiting time (for custom countertop or seamless glass installation), they let us know clearly when and why. 2) Their work is high quality! And everything else is done at a high standard. 3) Adrian is on top of the project, organized, is great with communications. We felt very comfortable discussing design options with him and changes during the project. 4) Adrian and his crew kept the mess to a minimum during construction and were timely when they showed up for work. 5) Adrian and his crew can do other renovation or home improvement projects, so we asked them to do exterior repairs and painting. The house looks brand new outside! 6) Adrian is transparent about his prices. The estimate was reasonable, and as we kept adding more things to the project, the additional cost was reasonable. We finished 2 bathrooms remodeling and a complete exterior update seamlessly with Adrian and his crew. No delays, no drama, no hidden costs, no communication issues, no headaches. We know we found a trustworthy contractor in Adrian and his group. And we will use their services again in the future! We give him our highest recommendation!"

Unlike previous contractors who find the shortest and easiest way to finish the project without regards to the long term consequences of future maintenance, Matt’s focus is in the long-term efficiency of any installation or project for our satisfaction and enjoyment of the product installed. This is the second time I had him work on a home project and found him being very consistent in his attention to details. The plumbing and electrical project we had was very tricky and complicated since our townhome is more than 50 years old. With many “patchwork” repairs done by previous owners/contractors, adding new wiring was not as straightforward. Yet, Matt and his team were able to save us the cost of adding a subpanel box after they took the time to assess all the existing wiring. Matt not only works to understand the purpose of the job requested but also takes into account the visual aesthetics involved in the project. "Hiring Jim Johnson / Texas Select Builders to remodel our kitchen was the best decision we could have made. Our remodel involved moving walls and columns, reconstructing counters, replacing countertops, sink and lighting, painting cabinets and installing tile. The project was completed on time and within budget without any surprises. What I loved was Jim’s ability to provide GREAT design advice and plenty of examples to help us fine tune our choices. He’s up front on honest and proved to be a phenomenal problem solver. His crew was friendly and courteous and his job foreman was wonderful as well. Jim was there for much of the process and was very communicative which made us feel very comfortable. We are so incredibly happy with end result! He turned our out-dated taupe, claustrophobic kitchen into the open, new and modern grey & white kitchen of our dreams. Saving like mad now so we can hire him to do the same for our master bath.
