Ron got right to work and did an incredible job on the bench repair. He did a job in hours that would have taken me weeks and multiple trips to the store. He also made quick work of remounting the shutter. Ron was very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and a joy to deal with. Also, Mr Handyman’s office did well with scheduling and communication. We contacted several contractors, and D.Willis was among the first to arrive, and offered the widest scope of skills for the job, including handling permits -- one contractor who could do everything for the work. They brought in an excellent team of builders who worked efficiently together. As new damages were discovered during repairs, they were amenable to take on the additional work and renegotiate the contract as needed. Finally, the work completed a bit beyond the contracted terms, with good attention to details."

"Russ showed up on time and was polite in addressing all the questions about the work.  Within a week he provided a very good estimate with breakdown of all the planned work, and delivered samples for consideration.  We made some adjustments to the work, and after the materials arrived he and a co-worker began their work.  <br /> They removed existing cedar siding, added foam insulation, wrap, drainage mat, and installed Hardie board siding.  He was attentive to proper priming of all the cut edges to prevent moisture wicking.  Things were laid up evenly when done.   Some of the caulking needed more attention after the first time, but he was more than willing to address any touch ups I noted.   <br /> He also nicely capped all of the wood trim around the entire house included some very long rake boards.  We were very happy with all the siding portion.  They did seem to work short days so if you're in a hurry you may want to tell them of your urgency.   I'm not sure I would recommend them for stucco, we had some portion converted from siding to stucco, and when he left there was a distinct demarcation between two parts.  He came back to correct later. The texture of the stucco is different on that part vs. the rest of the house too.  I'm sure there is some technique which could be difficult that I don't appreciate.   The stucco and the added caulking I needed to point out are the only reason I gave a B for quality.  It would probably be fine if it weren't adjoining another area of stucco.  All the other trim work and capping was well executed.  We would use him again for any siding and trim work.   <br />"
