"I contacted this company a few weeks ago to setup an appointment for HVAC tuneup and some minor repairs. On the day of the appointment, they called me an hour before the appointment time and said they had to cancel because it was raining and they don't do tuneups when it rains. They rescheduled me for 4 days later at 3pm.

On the morning of the new appointment, I called to confirm they would be there. The person who answered said they might not make it out because they've been busy with all the tuneups that were rescheduled due to the rain. I pointed out that my tuneup was one of the ones rescheduled due to rain and I expected them to be there. He said he'd call me later.

I was called back a few hours later and he said he'd be there at the appointment time of 3pm. At 4pm nobody showed up and I called to ask where they are. The person who answered said his technician is on the way and will be there shortly. I asked when exactly he would be there and he said he didn't know.

At 5pm I called again and nobody answered the phone. Finally, shortly after 5pm, he arrived, with no acknowledgement that he was 2 hours late. I told him that I need the HVAC tuneup and need a few leaks fixed and needed some improperly operating vents looked at. He fixed the leaks in the system and said he can't do anything about my vents. Did not even look at the vents, just said he can't fix it.

I asked if he can check the drain pipes to make sure they're not clogged. He poured some water down them and said the water went down so it's not clogged. 

I asked if he can check the freon levels and he said he can't because he doesn't have the key to open my air conditioner and would need to order one from the manufacturer. 

He then ran the air conditioner for a few minutes and checked the temperatures at the vents. That's all he did.

I asked if there's anything else that's done for A/C tuneup and he said no that's all. So either the A/C tuneup only required exactly what I told him to do and nothing else, or there was a lot that he just didn't do for whatever reason. I found some A/C maintenance checklists on the internet and some of them are 20-40 steps long. I really don't know what happened here.

"On 1st unit, techs added a lot of freon and cleared the blocked drain line from the blower. The continuous running on the the second unit has been a recurring problem that had been treated prior as thermostat problem. The problem has always returned after thermostat replacement. The AAA tech is the first to examine the blower thoroughly and discover a bad module as the problem. Hopefully, this will be a lasting fix."
