"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

He helped us to make a difficult and expensive purchase decision. The contract was signed Friday evening and the work was completed by Thursday afternoon. The installers Ricardo and Omar arrived promptly on install day morning at 8am and worked quickly to do all the work by 4pm. They respected our home and kept work areas clean with tarps. Omar especially kept me informed of the progress of the project throughout the day. "We had SMELSCER PLUMBING install two 50 gallon water heaters in 2018, one upstairs & one downstairs @ $750 each, with a 6 YEAR WARRANTY. Within 1 YEAR the water coming from the upstairs one smelled awful - like rotten eggs. They drained it and charged us another $200. NOW the UPSTAIRS water heater HAD COST US $950. Within 3 YEARS (of a 6 YEAR WARRANTY), the upstairs water heater QUIT WORKING. They said it had to be REPLACED (UNDER WARRANTY) & said the LABOR TO INSTALL IT would be $600, meaning the upstairs water heater NOW COST $1550. Also, even though they were installing a NEW WATER HEATER, they would only honor the 3 YEAR WARRANTY left on the FAULTY WATER HEATER. WHAT SHOULD THEY HAVE DONE? They should have gone back to the company and NEGOCIATED (on behalf of their client - US) a NEW WATER HEATER with a 6 YEAR WARRANTY, and NEGOCIATED with the company to PAY THE $600 INSTALLATION FEE. They DO NOT BACK UP THEIR CLIENTS!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!"
