"If we had know that a whole-house window replacement (plus a french door) was this easy, we would have done it years ago! Working with Scott and his installation crew has been a great experience. We talked with several different window replacement companies before making our decision. Universal won us over by 1.) getting back to us right away and scheduling an appointment at our earliest convenience, 2.) the quality and price of the windows and doors, 3.) being able to call and talk to Scott himself (not an automated system) when we had questions, and 4.) the assurance that he did not subcontract the installation. Scott was so knowledgeable about his products and helped us with our decisions without being pushy or making us feel that we needed to make a quick decision before some kind of "special offer" expired. The prices we were quoted remained the same. He has a trained installation crew that really knows what they are doing and are personable, professional, and knowledgeable about the product that they are installing. Wayne and his crew replaced 20 windows in one day, and replaced a french door in a few hours on the second day. They had all of the tools and materials needed for any unexpected problems when replacing windows and doors in an older home. They cleaned up when they had finished and took away the old windows and door. This was a great experience and we will use Universal Windows again if we ever need to replace other windows."

"The old windows were becoming hard to see through and hard to open. After getting bids from a couple of "hard sell" and more expensive vendors, I luckily heard of Zen Windows. It was truly a zen experience--no pressure, lots of comparative information, all on-line or over the phone until time to measure the windows. The staff was professional, did not waste our time, explained everything, cleaned up afterwards. (A note: replacing your windows is not a neat job, lots of debris will be created and the space will be open to outside air for some time. Zen minimized the inconvenience for us and it was actually pleasant to have them in our home.) They were super picky about the quality of the work: after installing and cleaning the windows, they discovered a tiny scratch on one that I would not have noticed. They ordered a replacement from the factory and came back a few weeks later to replace it. It is SO wonderful to have new vinyl windows! They are energy efficient and EASY to keep clean, since they pop half-way out to clean the outside pane without going outside. We appreciate out yard more now that we can see it clearly."
