"JOB: Counter top replacement, faucet replacement in two bathrooms and reuse of faucets in one bathroom and under mount rectangle sink replacement in our three bathrooms Classic Granite and Marble just completed a job for my husband and myself today. The templator Shawn arrived in a timely manner on February 14, 2024 and was quick and efficient to measure our bathrooms so we could start this process. Though out the process, our design consultant Sarah was checking in with me, going over every detail and always responsive to my emails. CGM phoned Monday (2.26.24) at 7:00 AM to advise our installers would be at my house in 20-30 minutes and they were. They worked quickly and efficiently in and out doing what had to be done and cleaned up behind themselves before leaving. They were in and out in 2-hours and did a beautiful job. Our plumber Bubba phoned today (2.27.24) to advise he was on his way and arrived as he said he would. My husband was home today and Bubba answered any questions he had and also was very efficient and in and out. He cleaned up and I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Classic Granite and Marble!"

"It went very well. Matt is a good listener, hard worker, talented carpenter, and gives very good advice when it came to decisions to be made. We are very happy with our new window seat, crown molding, and paint job. A big improvement to our kitchen!"

"The main house re-roofing went fine. The carport/storage shed flat roof, not so good. The initial project, remove old roof, bad plywood and wood joists, replace with 30lb paper and 5v metal, well. After the first rain, leaks were discovered. The contractor came back and replaced the 30lb felt with ice and snow shield and re-screwed down the metal. A couple of good rains and the roof still leaks. Not a big leak, but little leaks turn into big ones and then major repair.
I have tried to get them to come back out to repair the very minor leak for at least 6 weeks now, and all I have gotten from them is lip/text service. It will take me more time to write this negative review about their poor customer service
then it will to make the repair!!! By the way,  the roof repair is only about 3-4 months old.

FAQs for interior trim and decorative moldings repair projects in King William, VA

While the terms 'trim' and 'molding' are often used interchangeably, they serve different purposes in home design. Trim refers to materials installed at the junctions of walls, ceilings, and floors, providing a seamless and functional transition. Molding, on the other hand, is a decorative type of trim crafted specifically to enhance your interior's visual appeal. For personalized recommendations that match your home's style, consult a professional contractor.

Repairing or replacing trim throughout your entire home takes six hours. If you're focusing on just a single room or a small section, you can expect the project to take one to two hours to complete. The process includes removing the old trim, carefully measuring and cutting new pieces, and precisely installing them to achieve a polished and lasting result.

Selecting the right trim is key to enhancing your home's overall design. Common options include shoe molding, quarter-round, baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and picture rails. The best choice depends on where you're installing it, your personal style preferences, and your budget. Consulting a knowledgeable contractor can help you find the perfect trim to elevate your interior's appearance.
