"Everything went very well, i.e., the consultations & purchase with Noel Smith in the showroom, the precise measurements, and the fabrication & installation coordinated by Donny the fab shop manager. Everyone involved in the process was very personable, professional & competent, and easy to work with. A few weeks after the installation, we noticed a minor flaw (knick) on the product which Donny was able to repair very much to our satisfaction. He also made an excellent repair of a knick that we had caused a few months later. He is very good at what he does. The company's product selection, attention to detail & customer service are all excellent."

"Did not go well. The brief plumbing inspection was something my husband and I do anyway. Turned on faucets and looked under cabinet to see if they leaked. The super deal cost $49 because it included a hot water heater flushing, the only real reason we hired them and paid for the “deal.” When time came to flush the heater, the nice young man said apologetically that they don’t usually flush heaters more than 10 years old because the sediment built up in the tank could cause clogs that they would not be liable for. Ours is 15 years old, so no flushing. I asked the young man to call his boss and tell him I didn’t feel I should pay for the flush that didn’t happen and THAT THE AD FOR THE DEAL DID NOT SPECIFY AGE OF TANK COULD PROHIBIT RISKY FLUSHING. The boss said I still needed to pay for the service call so I had to pay $39 for basically nothing since no flushing took place. The “inspection” took less than 10 minutes and as I said, consisted of turning faucet on and looking at pipe to see if it was dripping. I was taken advantage of by the boss. His ad was misleading or I would never have bought the “deal.” Angie’s List, you need to do a better job of vetting your “deals” to see if they are misleading!"

"I called the warranty company Saturday afternoon, received a call a few hours later, and scheduled appointment for the next day. Was told I would get a call 30 minutes prior to arrival but didn't. Arrived Sunday, assessed the problem in less than 15 minutes, recommended new water heater, and measured scuttle hole. He said the order for the heater would be placed Monday, it would arrive Tuesday and he could come Wednesday morning. He called me Tuesday afternoon and said somehow it did not get ordered amd blamed the warranty company, then pushed repair to Wednesday afternoon. On Wednesday I again did not get the 30 minute call letting me know they were coming. The heater did not fit and I asked how, since he measured and the response was "I can't control what the warranty company gives me do you want it or not?" Some boards were removed and replaced to make it fit. The owner, I felt, was a bit hasty and rude but his employee was very nice and explained things well. Overall the job was done, took 4 days from the time I called to completion and overall was an ok but not great experience."

"They were able to come out within a few days. When they got here they said the septic tank was too deep (>2ft) to hand dig and the ground makes it seem like there was a problem with the one of the lids. It took a about 1.5 week to get back with backhoe to dig and there was an extra cost for that. Initially I thought backhoe part was expensive, but did not have other quotes to compare it to. Pumping cost was comparable to others. They were careful when uncovering the tank so they would not damage the lids. Pumped out both sides of the tank. They warned me about the poor condition of the tank - but they didn't act like they were trying to upsell me a new tank or other services. Overall, I was very pleased and will call them the next time the tank needs to be pumped out."

Our water heater had been in the attic since the house was built, about 15 years.  We had started thinking it was time to replace it, before we had an incident that would require drywall and paint.  Scott, The Water Heater Experts owner, is GREAT!  He came out to assess our situation and advised me on the pros and cons of tankless water heating. We decided to replace our existing tank with a new one, rather than installing tankless. Scott pointed out the items in the attic that would need to be brought up to code and included that in the replacement estimate. The new heater is the same brand as our previous one (Rheem, 50 gal) with some new features that Scott took care to explain.  Scott and an assistant brought the new heater and removed the old one, which I thought would be a real trick to get it out of the attic but I honestly did not hear them remove it and didn't even know it was done.  They shut off the water, drained the tank and made the code adjustments and installation in about 2.5 hours. I was completely impressed by how they approached the project and cleaned up after themselves. Because water heaters are a once every 10-15 year purchase, companies like these rely on recommendations rather than repeat business (although Scott guarantees his installations and supports any problems.)  I can say I highly recommend Scott and the Water Heater Experts!

"It’s very rare when I write a review for services performed based on an online estimate and the first words that come to mind are honest and trustworthy. I placed the ad to have someone come fix or replace the HDMI cable in my elderly father‘s living room TV. And any of you with aging parents know that the TV is vital! I placed the ad on a Saturday and Chris was at my door at 9 AM Sunday morning. I am in a wheelchair and am unable to get into the cabinets where the router and cable box are stored. It turned out the only thing wrong was the HDMI cable managed to come loose and it Chris plugged it in and got it working right away. Then I asked him to please look at the ethernet port in my bedroom because it was not showing as having a landline. And somehow, yet again, the Ethernet cord had come out of the router, he plugged it right in and get it working as well. Other contractors could have drug their feet and made the project last a lot longer and overcharge for work that did not need to be done. While he was at my house, I found out that he is a jack of all trades! That day I had him cut out the back of a piece of the cabinet to get the cable box to sit flat. I already have him scheduled to come back for some plumbing issues and some handyman issues that I have outside of my house.
