The roof needed a full replacement, including all new plywood since the existing wood was completely worn out, and everything was handled thoroughly and professionally. He also rebuilt our deck from the ground up using Trex decking because the base of the previous wood deck had rotted out. The transformation is incredible. It looks absolutely beautiful and feels solid and well-built. The team was professional, hardworking, and paid attention to detail throughout the entire project. We are very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them."

"Used this company years ago and they came now as a result of an Angies List $49 deal for a roof assessment with pictures and minor repairs.  The review was comprehensive but I'm thinking it was what they would do for any prospective customer who requests an estimate.  Not sure there was a benefit to purchasing the Angies List deal.  I also think that the representative was overselling with a recommendation for a roof rebuild and some other services that a mason and other roofing contractors said I did not need.  The estimate they provided was just for the roof replacement.  All that said, I still think it is a good company and will probably end up choosing them.  They did systematic follow-ups to see if I had any questions, etc. until I told them I'd contact them when I was ready.

"Arrived early in the morning and worked continuously all day. The job was finished about 3:00PM. My property was cleaned up very well when the job was finished, including using magnets to pick up any stray nails. Everyone was very professional and nice. "When my roof started leaking I began the arduous task of getting estimates for a new roof. After getting a number of estimates from most of the minor and major roofing companies serving Orange County NY, I was not impressed. Most of the larger companies were expensive and the owner is not involved in the installation. The smaller companies had no website or did not belong to the Better Business Bureau. I also received a couple of estimates from home improvement companies which although they had much lower estimates, they were not accredited with the shingle manufacturer which could void the warranty. As a last resort I called Luna Siding and Roofing, Inc. Their salesman Sam came out the next day and I explained to him I did not need the whole sales pitch about the shingles which I had heard a number of times already. He explained to me that the owner is on site throughout the roof installation. Sam did not give me an estimate on the spot which all of the other contractors previously had. A day or two later I received a detailed estimate of the work to be done with a ton of additional information. I was also impressed with the fact that I was given a 48 hour discounted price which helped to expedite my decision. After doing some research of the company as well as requesting photos of actual work that they had done, I signed a contract. To my luck they had an immediate opening. Within a few days after sending a deposit, the owner Rolando and his crew arrived 7am in the morning and immediately went to work. Unfortunately for me the roof sheathing had two problems, it was only 3/8 inch plywood and portions of the roof exposed to direct sunlight all day had melted the shingles onto the plywood which was impossible to remove. After doing some quick online research and talking to Rolando, I decided to have the entire roof sheathing replaced with 1/2 inch plywood. Although it was unexpected expense, I do not believe in being penny wise and dollar foolish as the saying goes, putting a new roof over questionable roof sheathing could lead to very expensive problems later which the shingle manufacturer may not cover. Rolando was also flexible with allowing me to pay a small balance in the near future after the holidays. The crew worked throughout the day and were completed by 4 in the afternoon. The yard was completely cleaned and the roof looked great. I would highly recommend Luna Siding and Roofing to friends and family."

"It went better than I could have hoped for!  Alan is a nice, honest person, with plenty of roofing experience.  The day after I called, he showed up first thing the next morning.   He could tell immediately why our slate roof was leaking into our bathroom and bedroom, and how to repair it - and explained it all to me clearly.  Westside did a great job.  The crew was highly professional, courteous, kind, and efficient.  They were In and out in one day!  I couldn't believe it! They even threw in some extras I hadn't asked for, e.g., rehung a heavy bathroom mirror much more securely than my jerry-rigged method. And when I asked for one last piece of work at the end of the day (which I hadn't thought of before), even after their long day they happily stayed longer to help me out.   Every person on the crew was nice and friendly and hard working.  And back in the office - Candi was great!  She is lovely to deal with, returned emails and calls promptly.

"The original project targeted only the Kitchen with minimum lay out modification. We later added removal of a wall and closet, replacing the dining room floor and painting the is one and the living room. We requested 7 quotes in total since this was a major project. We decided to work with Remodeling concepts due mainly to: - Derek's professionalism, - a timely response during the quoting process. We made four modification to the original project changing design and scope of work, - a very competitive price, - solid references, - have insurance and be licensed. The job started on the agreed date, and run as scheduled. Derek's team follows his professionalism, and they demonstrated a high level of expertise. Demolition (walls, closet, cabinets, etc), cleaning, framing, sheet-rock & taping, tile and back-splash work, plumbing and gas work, cabinets installation, electrical work, appliance installation, and painting were top. And they kept the dust to the minimum. We could appreciate their craftsmanship on the details. We have our DREAM kitchen. My wife is extremely pleased, therefore so do I.
