"Thorough site visit for quote. Very responsive to questions and changes in options and revised quotes. G&S provided our lowest quote, but it was still more than we expected, thus a Good rating on price instead of Excellent. I think the quote for the additional duct work was high. The survey before installation was also thorough and I was able to have a say in the electrical and the return air duct design. A great crew of five or more showed up for the main day of installation. Two worked on additional ducting, an electrician, a couple on the outside unit, and one or more on the garage gas furnace and A/C coils. I was not able to watch all the installation work and I was surprised at how the outside unit was oriented. However, when I requested it to be re-worked, they didn't hesitate at all and I was pleased with the result. Because of the responsiveness and resolution, they earned excellent quality and professionalism ratings."

"I would highly recommend going through Freedom Systems for all of your security needs.  Jimmie came out and gave me a quote for a new security system and a high def camera system, he really knows his stuff.  We decided to forgo the camera system since we were able to integrate a camera into the security system.  Even though they were busy and short one installer, they went above and beyond to get our security system installed within a week.  The installers were quick, efficient and didn't leave a mess. There was an equipment malfunction, but they came back out next day to replace the part.  I am extremely happy with the whole experience.

"It went very well. estimator was very thorough explaining everything about the system, its part and options, and the procedure. Installation was very quick and efficient. He did a great job keeping the existing room clean and free from debris. We are very pleased with the photovoltaic night light. Wasn't sure if we would like it but we do. The only part we are disappointed with is WHY DIDN'T WE DO THIS SOONER. We plan to add more lights in other areas in the future. "SolTerra did an absolutely fabulous job and has been a pleasure to work with. :-) We initially contacted them over a year ago for an estimate so that we could plan for our installation, get a few estimates, and compare technologies. After doing exactly that, we reached back out to them to move forward with our installation; everything SolTerra had in their proposal (which had three energy options) reflected just what we were after: the latest Enphase micro-interters, 400W Solaria panels, Enphase control systems, LG batteries, and very good warranties. Throughout the entire process, Kevin was there to answer any questions that came up. Once we decided to move forward, SolTerra put us on the schedule and kept us updated on the tentative start date. We were initially looking at starting in June and actually started at the beginning of August - not bad given the disruptions of the pandemic. When the day arrived, so did SolTerra with 33 solar panels, mounting hardware, and various other system components. The installation of the mounting rails and panels happened at the same time as most of the electrical system installation - after 5 days the panels were installed and the majority of the battery system and Enphase control systems were installed as well. There were a couple delays due to a defective control board (which took a few weeks to obtain a replacement), but even while waiting for the replacement the SolTerra electrician and team finished up every part of the installation they could and scheduled the necessary inspections. By the beginning of September, we were all set and waiting for PSE to drop by to approve the installation and throw the switch to turn on the system. Throughout the installation, the electrician and crew were very communicative, keeping me updated on the progress they made each day and the timeline for inspections and any associated updates. I particularly appreciated the electrician's updates when the defective control board was discovered, and that he provided me with lots of details each day as he installed new components or made alterations. The end result was a beautiful system, from panel arrays to batteries to control systems and conduit - it was all very polished and showed professional engineering design and high-quality installation. After the system was operational, Kevin came to the house to provide a full walk-through of the system, components, and the related Enphase Enlighten app and its features. At the end of his visit, I had copies of all the plans, manuals, approvals, permits, and warranties, plus a complete understanding of my system and its indicators - I was one happy, informed customers. I was also really pleased that the SolTerra crew came right out when a small leak appeared from a vent that was jostled by the installation (the solar panel installation probably moved the old vent just a little bit). Kevin and Neil had a crew out the day after I contacted them and made certain that the vent and all nearby solar mount points were extra-sealed - the leak was completely resolved. I really, really appreciated their promptness and how they took the time to ensure there was no potential for leaks from the solar install - they stand by their products, crew, and customers completely. I would definitely recommend SolTerra to anybody considering a solar installation - they have a top-notch crew and use the best-in-class materials to provide a long-lasting, turn-key installation. I'll even be reaching out to them if we decide to expand out battery storage. :-)"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"The job was fine. The only thing I did not care for was he charges by the hour and he was using my hand tools the entire time which gave me the impression that he was slowing things down or trying to take his time. That was something I did not particularly care for because I never went back and used him. He was fine except he took time. Timing is what broke his price. He did fine work. I felt like he was not trying to do things in a more integrity-driven way. I would tell a friend or family that he seems to charge a fair price, but then, he takes time and that is how he builds up his rate."

"Jared is fantastic! Super prompt scheduling & thorough communication right from the start. He was able to come out much sooner than I expected. He was running a little later than he thought on the day of the appointment & let me know right away, which was fine. He is very personable & knowledgeable, and his work is efficient & clean. No surprise costs, everything was as previously agreed to. Even though I wasn't paying for the furnace or A/C to be cleaned he still took the time to look at them & show me what he found, for future reference. The whole cleaning process only took two hours, and we got to see how filthy everything had been plus the random objects he'd found in the ducts. As a new homeowner of a 'light fixer' I was relieved to have such a painless experience! I am SO GLAD we had this service done and I would hire Jared again or refer him to friends & family in a heartbeat. Highly recommended."

"The two that came out were very professional and willing to work with us on ideas for lighting and what might be best to install without damaging existing walls or ceilings. They were able to run wire through crawl space and up into the walls. As we were moving into this house running back and forth to the former house we felt very comfortable leaving the electricians alone in house. Job was completed on time and you cannot tell this was after the fact installation.
