"Everything went well and smooth with their help. I got the proposal with all details at the same day when they came to do the estimate. Our old furnace was built on 1971, and it was in a closet next to the water heater tank. When one other company came to estimate, they wanted to cut a furnace size hole on the wall facing the hallway to fit the machine and we have to find a constructor or handy man to finish, like to build a door or make it look good, but G&S figured out an easy way, which is to turn the machine toward another direction and eventually only cut a vent on the wall. It took two days for all the installation, and they cleaned up when they left and everything looked clean and nice. They also listened to customers. We didn't want the heat pump to be right next to the stairs of our deck, so they chose a spot which was few feet away from the closest spot without any question. We appreciate for that, since the wind blows out from heat pump is kind of strong, and we feel comfortable with where it is at now. One thing I really like is they were on time, and they called around 30 minutes ahead before them showed up. They also take care all the paperwork for the PUD rebate, Costco 10% shop card, and city permits, and all we do is waiting their call to arrange the time."

We were impressed with the presentation made by their representative prior to our purchase compared to other representatives with whom we spoke. Because we wanted to be insured, we purchased an extended warranty. We're really glad we did! We have had the system serviced annually, but this year an extensive leak developed that damaged the interior of our home and caused black mold. We initially notified our insurance company but then decided we should notify Washington Energy Service as well. The decontamination had begun, but the damage was evident. The Washington Energy Service representative was so very helpful and understanding. He immediately determined what needed to be done to correct the problem and within two days had a team to our home to complete the repair. "Scott was very good about explaining the pros and cons about different options we had for replacing our in-wall heating units. We had originally considered installing a propane infrastructure to also supply a gas stove, but after considering the cost, complexity, and relative high cost of operating a propane furnace, opted for a heat pump instead. Notably, of the three vendors we contact, Scott was the only one who made sure we knew about some incentive programs being offered by the local utility, which caused him a little more paperwork but saved us $1200. When performing the site survey, Scott listened to our remodel plans and took advantage of them to minimize the impact of ducting installation. We were frankly surprised at how little drywall needed to be cut to install ducts throughout the house (and were helped by the fact we were replacing flooring upstairs, so they were able to cut in through the exposed subfloor from above rather than through the ceiling below). The installation was professional and thorough, with well-sealed ducts and neatly routed ductwork, coolant piping, condensate drainage, etc. The system has been trouble-free so far, and is both quiet and effective. We are extremely happy to have taken the opportunity to switch to forced-air heating."

"It went great and it's good to see the fence standing again.  Kairos was responsible, hard-working, efficient, and picked up their work area.  I am very pleased with the work that was completed and it was done for a reasonable price.  I was glad I was able to hire Kairos - it was a fluke that thhey came out this far from their service area, but I'm very glad they did.  I felt that I received the service I paid for, which was labor for fence repair.  If there is a next time, I'll have some pickets available to catch the couple that we all missed seeing. It's a relief to have working gates again and a repaired fence!  Thanks!

"Overall the service appeared to be successful. However, he did not have the filters on hand to replace them, and I had to use one of my own. He wanted to be very efficient and insure that the cooling of the air conditioners were getting to each room of the house, which then meant that he went to the rooms to check the temperature. This has never been done before from any other technician, and it was felt that it wasn't necessary.
