"The 2 men (Rolando/friend) who came did a great job; the friend could speak no English (hard to communicate with him). HOWEVER, I asked for what was stated when I searched out local "Electricians" to be a "FREE Estimate," and I thought that's what they were doing as they pulled things apart. BUT they repaired the overhead light/fan switch without telling me the cost first. When I asked the cost Rolando politely said he didn't know and his boss would send a bill. The cost ($289) was more than we paid for the light/fan in the first place a year ago!!! Had I known that up front, I would not have hired them. I responded to the bill sent to me from David Hill that I thought $289 for an hour (or less) of work was steep; he responded that I should value their work & his costs more. That he'd already discounted the bill (which required NO PARTS) by $100 &, with all that, my cost was just $12 an hour!! With that discount, the job would've been $38; outrageous! I won't use him or Angie's again"

"Lucky did a quality job for us and his craftsmanship was apparent. He was professional and offered a reasonable price. We had discovered a broken flange when we started to install our toilet and felt like we needed a professional to handle it. Lucky installed a stainless steel adapter ring and fixed the problem. He also installed the toilet (which my husband was happy about). We were very satisfied and will call him again if we have plumbing or electrical tasks. He is very experienced. Mr. John Sherlock arrived at the time and date specified to give us an estimate.  He returned the following day with his assistant and performed the job in one day.  He installed 26 copper lightning rods on the flat roof of our 7,000 square foot home.  These rods were connected with 500 feet of heavy duty copper cable and were grounded at three points with ground rods going down through the drainpipes into the ground. All parts of the system were securely attached to the roof.  He did a neat job and cleaned up all excess materials.  We were very pleased with the job him did.  Since installation of the lightning rod system we have had no trouble with lightning striking the house or causing power outages or surges.

"Materials used were above average compared to other quotes we received, impressed with Mr. Fineman's knowledge, answered all my questions and addressed any concerns. "Solid, reliable, expert service!!! Last April, at a time when it seemed we would not be able to get a dishwasher fixed, we called All Better Appliance. What seemed like an unrepairable condition for the dishwasher was diagnosed quickly, and parts ordered. Along with the expert diagnosis, was needed guidance that the dishwasher was worth fixing. A few days later, the part arrived, we were called, and Bruce returned. The repair was done quickly, and affordably. More recently, our clothes dryer had a serious problem. A control module malfunctioned, and nearly started an electrical fire. Again we called All Better Appliance, and asked for Bruce. They were very responsive, and had Bruce there the next day. Another fix or replace decision had to be made. With appliance availability to purchase very limited, fixing seemed to be our quickest option. The part for repair, although delayed by a day, arrived the day before we were traveling. Bruce extended his day to accommodate our repair and fixed the dryer allowing us the chance to finish packing clean clothes. Thanks to All Better Appliance and Bruce for exemplary and timely service at both times we really needed it. Highest recommendation!"
