"Had a leaky shower head which had previously been repaired by a plumber I hired due to a very high Yelp rating. That plumber took a total of seven hours to repair the leak. After a couple of months the leak returned. Hired Degennaro plumbing who repaired the leak in less than an hour and charged me half of what the previous plumber charged. James Degennaro came to the house exactly on time, had all the necessary parts with him, and even showed me old parts that the previous plumber failed to replace which resulted in the leak returning. Overall a great experience and I would definitely hire him again based on his professional manner and obvious superior knowledge of plumbing problems."

"I highly recommend Jake and his team for any plumbing needs. Jake was friendly, knowledgeable, and got the job done at a reasonable price. I know how hard it is to find a good plumber and I have already sung his praises to some co-workers. He didn't just complete a task, he cared about doing it right and went above and beyond and cleaned up behind himself. We plan to use him in the future for other projects. He seemed honest and like an all around nice guy. I fully recommend his services."

"I was replacing a bath faucet myself when an urgent matter came up. Kass showed up within 2 hours and found my elderly neighbor had fallen and in need of assistance. Kass helped him to his feet and without missing a beat, solved my plumbing problem, quickly and professionally. Great job!"

"I am one that usually does not write reviews, here I go. The technician they sent Paul Muro was on time both days he was here. Paul went over each job I had walked him through and he explained what parts he would be using and how he was going to do the work. I needed 2 showers repaired, 1 with a new fixture and one rebuild work. I had a faucet in the garage that needed replacing. I also had a inch and a quarter copper pipe leak on my pool, underground. One final job was to repair the outside hose bib. Paul did most if not all of the work done. He would have a helper, but this person would be called to another job, this happen twice during the two days of work. Ok I'm done writing my review, I know that it is long, but I could go on and I still couldn't say enough on how good Paul was on my home. Thank you, the only thing that got below A 5 rating was how much money it was costing. Have a good day."

"Started with my bathroom toilet that would not drain.  I was unsuccessful so call experts,.  they ended up putting a scope and found that my iron pluming was flaking and needed jet blasting to restore to clean.  they asked about our main line.  We usually have trouble every year or so do to a large tree that has roots going into the main line.  They scoped the main line to the street and found a big root in our pipe that took up most of the pipe.  A couple of loads of wash and it would have backed up.  solution was to dig down 7 feet by our sidewalk were the root was and replace the pipe.  When they got down there the replaced the pipe and scoped to the street and found some more roots and it was clay back to out clean out  which was about 15 feet from the first hole.  They could sleeve to the street but we have a weak link in the clay to the clean out.  So we opted to do a non trench, replace the clay, sleeve the to the street and jet the house.

"Rodrigo came the same day I called to check out our leaking toilet. I thought I had to change out the flush valve because the fill valve and flapper were both fairly new. He did give me a price quote to switch out the valve but suggested I purchase a few flappers to see if it would make a difference. Bought 3 diff ones and put in the cheapest one and it fixed the leak! I totally appreciate his honest feedback and suggestion. If I do need a repair or any plumbing work I will definitely give them a call back."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in La Palma, CA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
