"We were impressed from the beginning with the professionalism and openness of our estimator. The work was reasonably priced, well-prepped, nicely cleaned up, and completed on schedule. We have employed several painting contractors over the years; Webfoot was by far the best."

"They have been really good to work with.  They were on time.  They were good and respectful.  I have been really pleased with them.   <br /> <br /> I don't have anything to compare the price to.  I don't know the quality yet but so far I will give them an "A" and I don't have any reason to give them less.  They called me when they were late."

"He did a wonderful job. His name was Chris and he was really great. He was responsible for getting the subcontractors out. He controlled everything. He communicated very well. As a matter of fact, I had the closet in a place that wasn't best and he realized that and talked to me about it. We figured out a better spot. He was really good. He tried to keep costs down, worked with me and let me do what I could to keep the cost down as well. I have recommended him to my family."

"Fantastic. Working with Brady and his team was a great experience. The quality of work was superb and he's just a great guy to work with to realize your ideas. He worked with us every step of the way and made some great suggestions that really made the project turn out great. This was a pretty major renovation... new deck/balcony, new staircase, rebuilt another deck and connected it all with a spiral staircase and new fence. <br /> Brafford Construction will definitely be the first contractor I call when looking to do other improvements in the future in the Bend area. <br />"

"My crawlspace flooded and the existing plastic vapor barrier was cut in numerous places (by a different contractor) to allow the water to properly drain. I contacted Spectrum Building and Restoration to remove the old vapor barrier and install a new one. They promptly provided a fair quotation and quickly scheduled the work. When they arrived at my house, the team did a good job of ensuring there was no mess inside my house. They did a great job of removing the old vapor barrier and installing a new one per code and even took pictures of various heating duct issues that required attention. These guys are great and I would definitely recommend using them. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in La Pine, OR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
