"They were on time and did a great job. Our door was worn and faded; even had some cracks. It looks great after they sanded and restrained it. I’m interested to see how the marine-grade clear coat holds up after a year too. I think $400 is a lot to pay but that’s what all of them are charging now. And the door definitely looks way better. I am glad we had it done."

"Jason Dawson did an amazing job! He was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable of the garage door. He replaced both tension springs, tightened all of the bolts and lubricated all moving components. Thank you Jason! I will definitely call Precision again!"

"The company was very easy to deal with and they accommodated my request for an after-five p.m. appointment to provide a quote. On the day of the work, they arrived at the scheduled time and did the work promptly. They were very careful to keep the house clean as the job was done. It seems as though the a/c is not working as hard to keep the house cool as prior to the installation, but I will be waiting to see what the impact is on my electric bill."

Charlie, the owner-mgr of 360, sent Paco to refinish our front doors. They were seven years old, had been redone about 3 years ago, and due to a poor quality prior refinishing and heavy sun, were peeling, chilpping and close to beginning to split.  One door was notably worse than the other. Paco first totally stripped the first (and worst) door, and sanded down the second. He attempted to match the finish on the better door, but due to the way it had been finished previously, he could not match it,and it was necessary to strip the second door. Paco then found a stain that was even a better match than the original doors (matching our wood floors), stained the doors, and then put on multiple coats or urethane sealer to finish the job.  Overall, Paco spent 2 1/2 days completing the job.  He was extremely neat, in masking the door, minimizing the sanding dust, and cleaning up.

Paco and Charile/360 were professional, personal, friendly and timely.  Our doors look better than brand-new, and I would hire 360 for my next paint job without any doubt.  They were top notch!

"From the initial appointment with Dan to the final details with Tony we were completely satisfied with service, professionalism and over detail placed into our project. We knew this was a large project for us and we really did our research to find the best company to take on our project and we are extremely happy that we picked Texas Outdoor Escapes.
Every step of the project was completed ahead of time and meticulously. Tony really did an amazing job communicating with us throughout the project. Tony really does have an exceptional team that showed up on time and worked quickly and thoroughly. From those involved with the concrete slab to those building our roof, we were not disappointed. The team consistently kept the back yard clean and neat even though it was a large project that created a lot of mess, they always cleaned up.
I appreciated the fact Tony came out multiple times to supervise the work and make sure it was 110%. He managed his team in such a way that our large backyard project only took them 2 1/2 WEEKS!  I definitely would recommend TEXAS OUTDOOR ESCAPES to anyone that is looking to invest into their outdoor living space.

FAQs for storm door installation projects in La Vernia, TX

For mobile homes, look for a lightweight storm door designed specifically for manufactured housing. A slimmer frame eases installation and reduces added stress on the doorway, while removable glass or screen panels allow you to switch between airflow and complete protection in minutes. The result is solid weather defense without unnecessary weight and a door that remains easy to operate season after season.

A well-installed and well-maintained storm door can add modest value by improving curb appeal, increasing security, and reducing energy loss. If the door is faded, dented, or hanging loosely, those benefits disappear—and may even harm first impressions. Professional installation ensures the door seal is correctly aligned and keeps the hardware in place, allowing the upgrade to deliver both visual and practical benefits that buyers notice.

Most storm doors last 25 years, and high-end models, when properly cared for, can reach 50 years. Lifespan depends on the frame material, glass quality, and the amount of punishment the door receives from wind, rain, or sun. Regular cleaning, fresh weatherstripping, and prompt repairs keep hinges tight and glass secure, helping the door reach its maximum lifespan.

Allow three to five hours to set a standard pre-hung storm door if the opening is in good condition. If you need to widen the frame or repair wood rot, expect the job to take a whole day to complete. A seasoned installer can complete the job faster and ensure the door sits square, seals tightly, and operates smoothly, saving time that often outweighs the DIY time commitment.

Most single exterior doorways can accommodate a storm door, provided the frame dimensions match those of the new unit. Patio and sliding glass doors are the main exceptions because their tracks won’t support the extra door. If you’re unsure about clearances or hinge placement, consider bringing in a door installer to measure the opening and recommend any necessary adjustments for a secure fit.
